"I promise I'll try my best to get here as soon as possible," you say pecking his lips as his arm rested on the door frame.

"I love you," he says.

"I love you too," you say with a smile as you open the door to leave.

Grayson recently started to feel a bit lonely all the time due to you being at work half of the time.

He couldn't admit that to you so he became involved in a problem that couldn't be easily solved.

*ring* *ring* *ring*

"Hey babe" a feminine voice spoke over the phone.

"What's up" Grayson enthusiastically answered.

"I need you" she huskily said over the phone.

"How about you come over, she's gone at the moment" Grayson smirks.

"Finally" she happily says.

"Don't keep me waiting?" he says ending the call.

Y/n POV

You drove calmly to work and parked your car near the entrance.

Once you head up to the office you see your boss awfully cheery today.

"Y/n!" he says walking over to you with a joyful smile.

"Mr.Ben is there something going on?" you question.

"Yes actually. The conference today got canceled with those investors because they read over the idea you proposed and loved it"

"Oh my god that's amazing," you say in disbelief.

"Just because of that you get the day off today"

"There's too much to do and-"he cuts you off.

"Nonsense go rest up and spend time with that lovely boyfriend of yours"

"I really appreciate it sir" you kindly respond.

"What are you still doing here? Go have fun!" he happily says as you begin to walk off.

"thank you" you scream back as you walk down to your car.

You open your car and decide to jam out to some harry styles.

"I don’t want your sympathy, but you don’t know what you do to me
Oh! (Oh, Anna!)" you sing off-key all the car ride home.

Once you get home you park your car outside your shared house and happily hum the song as you make your way inside.

You walk up the stairs as you see Grayson is no were to be found downstairs.

You walked upstairs and saw your room closed.

Weird. You thought.

You walk over and open the door to something you wished you hadn't seen.
