A woman called out to someone in Sophie dreams. She was surrounded by buildings collapsing and fire licking up the sides of them. The woman emerged out of a smoke ridden building. She had a sleek built figure with dark brown hair and stormy blue eyes, with a golden sheen over them. She had a luxurious red dress that complimented her beautiful golden skin. But her skin and dress were ripped and ash-ridden. Her hair was in a wild mess

"Amalia! Amalia where are you, passerotta? Please!" She cried out.

Passerotta. That sounds so familiar — warming and caring. Her accent reminded her of a human's Italian accent combined with a greek accent.

"Maria, we need to go!" A voice cried out, grabbing her shoulders and tried to pull her back.

"NO! I can't leave her! She is all I have left of him!" Maria cried out, resisting to go.

"Maria!" The voice cried out. Maria fell to her knees and sobbed. She let out one final plead, which came out sobbed and shakey.

"A-Amalia, please come out. Please! Don't make me leave without her!" Maria cried out as she forced to flee with the other people running from the burning buildings. The scene blacked, leaving Sophie in confusion.

The scene suddenly changed, turning to a lab. A man rushed in holding a child, looking panicked and rushed. Sophie couldn't see his face or the face of the child. The scene flickered and scratched, almost like it was a glitch in Sophie's mind.

"Is she okay? The stress seems to have gotten to her. We need her to be stable!" A gnome asked, barging in with other medical staff. The man carrying the child checked her pulse.

"She is alive, but her mental and physical status is all over the place. We need something to stabilize her." The man said, running over to the cabinets searching through bottles and potions. A small figure pushed through the crowd. Her hair was, and she didn't wear a lab coat, unlike all the others. Sophie recognized her immediately.

Calla.

"All of your worrying and rushing about won't calm the child." She said, her voice stern. She moved next to the young form and pressed her fingers against the girl's temples. Sophie still couldn't see the face of the kid or the man that brought her in. Calla started to sing, and it was the same song that she sang to Sophie to calm her nerves. The kid on the medical table visibly relaxed, and her eyes started to flutter open. The child began to take small gasps and breaths. Suddenly the kid glanced around her surroundings and started to hyperventilate. The man who brought her in rushed over to her, putting a hand on her forehead and telling her to breathe.

"Padrino dove sono?" The child asked.

"da qualche parte sicuro, lo prometto." The man answered.

Sophie weirdly couldn't understand what language they were speaking, no matter how much her polygot senses tried to kick in. Maybe it had to do with the dreams glitching.

"Dov'è la zia Maria? La nostra casa è ancora in fiamme?" The girl asked, shaking while she laid on the table. The man sighed.

"Ναί. Non so dove sia Maria. " The man said. The girl took a shaky breath. Sophie craned her neck to try and glace at who the girl was. But no matter how much she tried, she still couldn't get a clear view of either of them. All she saw was the other scientists and Calla in the corner with tears in her eyes. The girl suddenly piped up, desperate for some answers.

"Che mi dici di mio padre? Sta bene? Per favore, non dirmi che è ... " She trailed off, almost scared of what she might say. The man looked away, giving her a silent answer. The girl took a breath and started to hyperventilate again.
