"I'm telling you Allesandro, both her and Alexios want to start training! Why not let them! Amalia and Alexio's powers are starting to manifest, and we want to be there to help the situation when it happens!" Leto said to Allesandro as they walked back to the Guild, returning from scouting out the elven cities.

"Maybe when they are both older, but I don't want either one of them feeling the pressure of becoming Assassins at seven and six years old, they can aspire to be whatever they wish!" Allesandro reasoned.

"Yes, but that still doesn't mean they are safe. Neverseen slave traders have been spotted working in the Inalian waterways, taking young children. It would help if they were able to protect themselves!" Leto said, throwing his hands up in frustration.

"True, I'll consider it Leto-" Allesandro stopped as he heard mumbling from the banks of the Inalian river next to the base. Both Leto and Allesandro shared a look before readying their weapons and walking towards the sound. Allesandro had his wrist blades out, read to slice and slash at a moments notice. Leto had his Inalian crossbow at eye level, checking out the surroundings through the crosshair. They emerged through the bush to find Amalia and Alexios standing over two motionless bodies, crouching down in worry and checking their pulses.

"I leave you two alone for two fucking hours! What the-" Allesandro was cut off by his daughter.

"Padre, we found them like this! Alexios and I went down to the library to pick up a new book, and when we returned, we found them washing down the river and propped on branches, extremely wounded. We managed to pull them onto the bank just now!" Amalia explained, her brown eyes wide. Allesandro glanced at his daughter and nephew. He noticed that they were both sopping wet and out of breath.

"Let me have a look at them," Leto said, placing his crossbow on his back. Leto walked over and performed many tests. After concluding that they were alive and just resting, much to Alexios's, Amalia's, and Allesandro's relief, he stared at the two bodies in thought. One was much older, with dark brown hair and olive skin, his eyes closed. The older one wore a beautiful blue blazer with silver accents going down the sides and black pants and brown boots to accompany it. The other one just looked like the mini version of the older one, with similar attire and similar skin tone and hair. Allesandro bent down and grabbed the older one's bag. He rifled through the papers before finding one that made him falter, his eyes big.

"What is it?" Amalia asked, trying to peek at the documents.

Allesandro swallowed before reading the form out loud. The documents were crumbled and had small burn marks and dirt.

"Alvar and Alden Vacker, ages 11 and 236, race: Elf," Allesandro said, meeting eyes with Leto

"Alvar and Alden Vacker, ages 11 and 236, race: Elf," Allesandro said, meeting eyes with Leto. Leto jumped back in surprise while Amalia gasped.

"Real elves?! Here?! How did they find Inalia?!" Amalia asked, walking over to the two.

"Amalia, be careful! They could wake up at any moment!" Alexios said, trying to grab back his cousin. Amalia bent down and examined the elves as if gazing at a foreign object never before seen.
