"I missed you!" Mansi screamed, power tackling Sophie. Sophie lovingly hugged back. Mansi and Nour heard that she was back in town and practically flew over at the speed of sound.
"How? How d-did you-" Nour was cut off by Sophie's scoff.
"You guys will never believe the last couple of years I have had..." Sophie chuckled. Sophie ten explained what she did after the attack. Her time with the humans, her living with the elves, her slow memory regaining.
"So, you spent time with... elves?" Nour asked, his voice dripped with disgust.
"Not all of them were so bad. I had a close group of friends that helped me a lot, and a couple who adopted me. But don't get me wrong, a lot of the elves had stuck up their-"
"Langauge!" Maria snapped, pressing her hands over Lilac's ears.
"Sorry," Sophie chuckled. Sophie got up and walked over to Lilac, who was being observed by Maria.
"She looks so much like you, who is-"
"This is my half-sister, Lilac." Sophie introduced. Maria paled when she heard that.
"Yeah, Eumelia." Sophie murmured, tucking a strand of hair behind Lilac's ear. Maria scoffed, crossing her arms, and Lilac visibly deflated. Maria noticed and bent down so she could look at Lilac.
"I am just mad at your mother. I'm sure your sister filled you in on what she did. But it is nothing against your little one." Maria promised, smiling warmly. Lilac smiled nad hugged Maria, who was surprised for a moment before hugging back.
"I won't judge someone on who they share blood with, but rather the kind of person they are," Maria said warmly. Sophie's gaze flickered to Ruy, who stared at the ground.
"Well, we have two more who you need to meet. And one to be reunited with." Sophie said, motioning everyone in. Ruy and Maha walked in, followed by Alvar. Sophie heard Mansi stiffened and squeak when she saw Alvar.
