The Celestial festival was being held in Prism Peaks, just like all the other times the elves celebrated it. Fitz gripped his sister's shoulder as they navigated through the crowd. Fitz just wanted to make this appearance and then go home. After Sophie died, Fitz barely bothered being social anymore and got panicked around any large crowds. Biana placed her hand on his, which tightened on her shoulder.

"We will be in and out, I promise," Biana whispered. Fitz nodded and kept his eyes trained ahead, trying to keep a smiling face for the crowds. Sofia was holding onto to Della and Alden's hands, smiling at the big crowds and giggling. Fitz felt a hand on his shoulder, and someone drapes over his shoulders.

"Hey, Fitzer!" Keefe said, smiling his signature smile. Fitz smiled as the Songs, Dizznees, and Keefe walked up.

"Hey, guys!" Fitz said. Keefe looked at the big stage they were about to walk up onto.

"Well aren't you guys turning into some famous celebrities." Keefe joked. Biana snorted and pushed him in the shoulder, but Biana noticed Tam and quickly looked away. Three years! Three years later, and they were still all silly for one another.

"Trust me. Both Mom and Dad just want to get this over with and go home." Biana said, rolling her eyes.

"How are you guys doing? Do you think you need to stay at our house again tonight?" Juline asked. When the Vackers saw Fintan at Everglen, they stayed the night at the Dizznees for a couple of nights.

"No, we should be okay-" Fitz was cut off as the Council glittered onto the stage. Fitz and Biana looked at one another before giving their friends a quick goodbye and following their parents and little sister onto the stage.

"Hello, you all!" Emery announced his smile wide on his face. The Vackers listened as the Council droned on with their typical speech. Oralie and Bronte were the only ones that looked at the Vackers, understanding what they have been through, but they quickly looked towards the large crowd before anyone would notice.

"-And now, I proudly introduce the Vacker family!" Emery said warmly, gesturing to the family sitting behind them. Sofia waved wildly to the clapping crowd, happy to make others happy.

"We are so happy to be before you today!" Della said warmly, her makeup concealing the dark circles under her eyes.

"And Happy Celestial Festival!" Fitz announced, his smile plastered on his face.

"We are so proud to say we are a part of the Elven society. All of us gathered here today, we are evidence of something great." Alden said, looking at his family.

"The world has been going through a large number of changes in the last couple of years. But even then, we persevered! We stand proudly, continuing our traditions as we have been for years!" Biana followed the script the Council gave the whole family. Alden raised open his arms, addressing the as if he needed a hug.
