Munshiji came over with a thick file just when Sameer had finished checking the last document about their impending meeting.

"Sameer beta, yeh file bhi dekh lo... ismein purane details hain... isse tumhe pata chalega ki pehle ke aur ab ke orders mein kitna aur kya farq hai... inn sab buyers ki jo bhi demands thi humne uske hisaab se naya maal mangwaya tha... production lagbhag khatm ho gaya hai... ab agle hafte bas woh log final karke sign karde toh hamare liye yeh bohot faaydemand deal ho jayegi." He placed the heavy file on the table.

Sameer ran a hand through his hair, nervous to see the volume of data in front of him.

"Kal parson chutti hai... ghar le jaana... aaram se padh lena... aur agar meri zaroorat pade toh phone kar dena main aa jaunga... waise meeting mein tum akele nahi hoge, main rahunga tumhare saath par beta, ek maalik ki haisiyat se tumhe sab kuch pata hona chahiye isliye main ye le aaya... koi dabaav nahi hai agar meeting se pehle na ho paaye toh... main sambhal lunga." Munshiji said softly.

"Nahi, nahi munshiji, main kar lunga... aaj hi shuru kar deta hun... aur do din ghar pe bhi mil jayenge." He slid the file towards him, smiling at the old man.

Munshiji nodded, and left.

Sameer picked up the file with both hands, let out a gush of air through rounded lips, and placed it back with a thud on the table.

"Jiss bojh ko haath tak nahi utha pa rahe usse dimaag kaise uthayega." He was distraught at the sheer size of the file.

He pulled open the drawer, taking out nanu's diary. With a deep breath, he opened the page next to the one he had read last time.

'Mujhe pata hai tu office mein sab kuch seekh raha hoga... darna mat... itna sab kuch hai yahan jo tere liye bilkul naya hai... waqt toh lagega hi... par mujhe bharosa hai tu kar lega... mera sher jo hai... aakhir apne nanu pe hi jayega na... beta, abhi agar tujhe achanak se yeh sab pahad jaisa lag raha hai toh sabse pehle ek nazar mein sab kuch naapna band kar... har mushkil cheez ko tukdon mein baant diya jaaye toh woh utni mushkil nahi rehti... fir aaram se ek ek tukde ka hal nikalo... tu bhi aisa hi karna... jo kaam bada lage usse hisson mein baant le... fir dekhna, saari uljhan kaise sulajh jayegi... yaad rakhna, Sameer, koshish kiye bina kisi kaam se haath peeche mat kheechna... woh teri haar hogi... aur meri bhi...'

He was amazed at how nanu could foresee the trouble that he would be facing. But the words filled him up with a new energy.

Bracing himself with the strength of nanu's faith and advice, he opened the file.

The entire day was spent in going through it. At home, he showed it to Naina, telling her about the instructions Munshiji had given, and what he read in nanu's diary.

"Main toh yeh soch ke hairaan tha ki unhe kaise pata chala mujhe kya mushkil aayegi." He shared with her, still in awe.

She smiled, keeping a hand on his arm, "Apne tajurbe se, Sameer... unhe andaaza tha ki jab tum kaam shuru karoge toh achanak itna sab dekh ke tum ghabra jaoge... unhone tumhe himmat di hai."

He was as amazed by her understanding as he was astonished by nanu's vision. He could have easily taken Naina to be nanu's reincarnation had it not been for the fact that they existed together in the world for eighteen years.

Munna Pandit arrived early the next day... just when Sameer and Naina had finished breakfast.

"Yaar Sameer, tera idea mast tha... pehle ke jaise poora din ek saath... aaj toh papa ki ek nahi suni maine... bas uthte hi yahan bhaag aaya." Munna hugged him.

"Oh ho... tabhi main kahun yeh badbu kahan se aa rahi hai... Munna, naha toh leta... itni bhi kya jaldi thi ki uthte hi aa gaya?" Pandit stepped away from him, scrunching his nose.
