Neely's POV:

"Did she leave?" Anne asked, stirring the mashed potatoes in a large bowl.

"I think so. Harry just went upstairs, he said he'll be down in a minute." My heart was aching for him. Hearing and seeing him cry was one of the worst feelings in the world.

"Go be with him, love."

"But he-"

"He's not coming back down. He does this when he gets upset. Go be with him," she urged. "I'll be sure to save you both some food." Walking skeptically toward the staircase, I padded up the stairs and knocked on the door before twisting the handle.

"Harry?" Seeing his long, lean figure curled up underneath the comforter, I could her him quietly sniffling. Closing the door behind me, I slowly walked toward the bed and sat down on the edge before swinging my legs up and pressing Harry's back against my chest. His hands clutched onto mine and he let out a small sob. Moving under the comforter, his body heat spread through me and I held him tighter.

"It's okay," I whispered, taking my free hand and rubbing his hair. Adjusting to him rolling over, he now faced me, his eyes closed. His arms locked around my waist and I put my hands on his cheeks as the tears continued to roll down.

"Shhh," I cooed. "It's okay, love." I kissed his temple, forehead, really anywhere that might even remotely comfort him. We laid there for what seemed like hours, him clutching onto me almost as if his being alive depended on it.

"Sing," he croaked, his voice hoarse and almost gone. Trying to think of a song, it took a few minutes and silence fell between us.

"What day is it? And in what month?
This clock never seemed so alive
I can't keep up and I can't back down
I've been losing so much time

'Cause it's you and me and all of the people with nothing to do, nothing to lose
And it's you and me and all of the people
And I don't know why I can't keep my eyes off of you

All of the things that I want to say just aren't coming out right
I'm tripping on words
You got my head spinning
I don't know where to go from here

'Cause it's you and me and all of the people with nothing to do, nothing to prove
And it's you and me and all of the people
And I don't know why I can't keep my eyes off of you

Something about you now
I can't quite figure out
Everything he does is beautiful
Everything he does is right

'Cause it's you and me and all of the people with nothing to do, nothing to lose
And it's you and me and all of the people
And I don't know why I can't keep my eyes off of you

And me and all of the people with nothing to do and nothing to prove
And it's you and me and all of the people
And I don't know why I can't keep my eyes off of you

What day is it?
And in what month?
This clock never seemed so alive," I sang and took a deep breath before finally seeing Harry open his eyes. They were tinted red, wide and glassy.

"You have a beautiful voice," he whispered.

"Are you okay?" This wasn't about me or my singing, this was about him.

"I will be."

"Do you want to go get some food?" Noticing it was dark outside the window, we really must have laid there for hours.

"In a little bit. For right now, just hold me."

"I can do that." His breathing had finally calmed, his grip still just as tight around my waist.
