Fluff! I don't play poker, so I'm sorry if I got something wrong about it. 🤷‍♀️

"Hey (Y/N)! Wanna' join?" Rossi called to you. You were on your phone listening to music as the jet made its way back home.

Rossi, Hotch, and Reid were sitting at the debriefing table as Morgan watched the game. Emily and JJ were getting some sleep. You nod eagerly and take the last seat next to Hotch. You face Reid and Rossi is in the window seat. Morgan is sitting in his chair facing us.

"You aren't playing?" You ask him

"Hell no. I'm not losing anyone more money to Mister Las Vegas, over here." He chuckled

"Really?" You ask interested. You're new and you've only been apart of the team for seven months now, so you don't know what he means (exactly)

"Yes really. He cheats with his mathematics." Morgan replied

"I don't cheat with mathematics! Sure it helps but—"

"He's still from Vegas though." Rossi said as he shuffled the cards

"If that's the case, why are we playing against him?" You giggled

"I'm determined." Hotch states

"And I've got enough money to spare." Rossi winks. Soon enough, the game of poker starts. You neglected to mention how you're absolutely incredible at cards, high iq or not. You've always had a great poker face as well as luck. And skills.

And just like before, the luck of the poker cards/Gods are on your side. You make no expressions, obviously. But you're laughing inside. This is gonna' be good. Looking up, you see your opponents looking at you, trying to read your micro-expressions. (Ultimately failing)You see right through them.

Eventually, Emily and JJ wake up and watch the scene unfold. Rossi is out first, then Hotch. Now it's you and Spencer. You make eye contact and see his smirk. God, he's cute. But that's beside the point! Anyways! You just stare back, unbothered.

Since you know your way around, you're confident enough to raise the stakes.

"Alright, Doctor. Let's turn up the heat, shall we?" You tease with an innocent grin. Reid blushed at you but played along. He always wins, so why not?

"And what do you have in mind, Agent (Y/L/N)?" He questioned with a smile. The others are just as intrigued. They know Spencer wins every time, but you seem like you have the skills to beat him.

"If I win, I get the pot and you do my case reports for a week. If you win, however, you get the pot and I do your's for the next week. Deal?" You smile sweetly

He pauses to think for dramatic effect.

"You're on. Cause I got...a Straight Flush!" He happily smirks. The team oooh'd and gave up. Of course he got such a high move.

"Well shit..." you sigh. He snickered and was about to fist bump Rossi. You cut him off.
"...I got a Royal Flush." You shrug casually and lay down the cards on the table.

The jet practically shakes from the rest of the team's shocked gasps, cheers, and celebratory dances. They're all flabbergasted but scream in awe. You feel the pats on your back and hear them laugh, but you keep eye contact with Spencer while his jaw is on the floor.

"How'd you-?! That's not-!! What?!!?!" He stuttered out. He's genuinely confused and intrigued as to how you maneuvered around his sneaky moves.

"I know my poker." You state with a small giggle as you gather the bets

"Holy shit! Reid met his match!" Morgan said

"Wait till we tell Penelope!" Emily adds

"I can't believe it. Spence lost!" JJ gawks

"That was fantastic." Hotch complimented with a tiny hint of amusement

"(Y/N), thank you! That was vengeance on behalf of every time one of us lost." Rossi says

"Goodnight Spencer!" You wave as you get up to go to the elevator while he's stuck with your paperwork

"Wait! (Y/N)!" He calls to you

"Yes?" You smile sweetly as you turn towards his desk

"C-could we, well, um, I challenge you to a game of chess?" He asked shyly

"Oh! Yeah sure. Right now?" You are curious

"Yeah. If you don't mind. I also have a p-proposition, well more of a bet, actually..." He adds as you pull up a chair to his desk

"Okay. What might that bet be?" You smirk

"If I win...we could grab a coffee...as a date." He squeaks out while you help set the board. Both faces go red, but you can't help the big grin that appears on your face

"It's not really a bet if I want that too, is it?" You tease. His head raised and his whole body perked up from your answer

"No, I guess not." He laughed and blushed

"Nevertheless, I'm still down to play. I could never pass the opportunity to beat you!" You giggled

"Oh it's on!" He smiles brightly and you do the same as he moves a pond
