Hi! Now that Hanukkah is over (Yes I'm Jewish), I wrote a fluffy short story for Christmas. Speaking of which, every night of Hanukkah this year, an antisemitic hate crime has been committed across our (terrible) nation. I am a full supporter of the BLM movement and have very liberal views. If you are a fellow activist, include the Jewish community in your voice because it has been at an all time high this year. If you don't agree with/support the BLM, LGBTQ+ communities, get the fuck off my profile. As well as not believing in basic human rights. Remember: BLM! Sorry to get political like that, but it's so very important to me and others who have gone through such horrible things nobody should face. ✊✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿💖

It was the 23rd of December and Rossi was hosting a party at his mansion. Of course he made a fantastic dinner, you and Garcia brought some baked goods, and helped decorate. Garcia brought some mistletoe and hung it on the arch that connects the kitchen and living room.

"Really Pen?" You giggle

"What? It's traditional!" She smiled

Everyone piled in and dressed nicely. You were wearing a dark green sweater dress. It was off the shoulders, displaying your collar bones and small necklace beautifully. It went to your lower thighs and you wore red heels to go with the Christmas colors. Your hair was down naturally and you looked stunning.

Everyone was sitting at the island on the bar stools facing Rossi as he cooked. Eventually, Spencer arrived. He was late because he couldn't decide what to wear. He settled on a regular red t-shirt with a blazer and nice pants. He walked up next to you and took the last seat right by your right.

The two of you were best friends and very close. Both of you had a secret crush on each other but were too shy and scared to ruin your friendship.

Suddenly, you felt a little sick. You excused yourself to the bathroom, walking through the living room to get to the hallway where the restroom is. You almost threw up. Thankfully, you didn't. Probably just period cramps. After splashing your face with a little cold water, you walk back out. Spencer was at the entrance to the kitchen leaning on the wall, he was waiting for you. You walk over to him.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked kindly

"Yeah I'm good. Just a little nauseous. Too much wine I guess." You giggled and he did too. You both blush and go silent. You stare at each other's features and got lost in one another's eyes. Since he's so tall, to look up at him you see a blurry bundle of green. You realized you're both under the mistletoe. He noticed it too and went red. Out of habit, he started to ramble;

"Um...did you know that the plant's romantic overtones most likely started with the Celtic Druids of the 1st century A.D. Because mistletoe could blossom even during the frozen winter, the Druids came to view it as a sacred symbol of vivacity, and they administered it to humans and animals alike in the hope of restoring fertility. And—"

Before he could continue, you grab his face and pull him down to you. His lips crashed against yours. He was hesitant, but only for literally two seconds. He took one of his big hands and cradled your cheek while the other went to your waist, holding you gently. Your lips moved together perfectly. His lips were slightly chapped from constantly biting them but were smooth enough since he licked them just as often. Your hands went to his hair and he pulled you in more so your bodies were flushed together as the kiss deepened—

"Ehem"

You both looked to your right while your bodies stayed in the same position. Spencer's lips were smudged with your lipstick. Both of your faces were as red as a tomato when you realized the whole team just saw that interaction. There was a moment of silence before everyone started to cheer. You buried your face in his chest and laughed. He held you close before making your way to the bar stools. Only this time, Spencer's arm draped over your shoulders while you sat down.

"Ugh, the magic of mistletoe!" Garcia giggled "I bet your glad I put it up now!" She added

"Yes." You both answered at the same time
