Asra:

You were both sitting at the table in the shop. He was cleaning up the cards as he had just escorted out a customer. As he gathered the cards, he glanced up to you to see you reading a spell book. He looked back down at his cards, only to freeze. No, it can't be! His eyes shot back up, staring in terror at you. You could feel his eyes so looked up before worriedly asking him what's wrong, not liking this look he's giving you. But his hand reached out to you. His hand was trembling slightly. He swallowed before retracing his hand, asking if you are feeling sick. As you shook your head, he frowned before hurrying away and returning with multiple books. He motioned to Faust to get something as he told you not to worry. You couldn't help but argue to him that his behaviour right now is very much worrying you. Faust arrived with a small mirror so you took it, only to stare in shock. There were these black markings spreading across your face. As you asked Asra what this is, he just frowned, too focused on flipping through his books. You couldn't help but put your hand over the book and demand him to tell you what's going on with you. He frowned, staying silent. He couldn't say it out loud, he would be admitting you are cursed, that he wasn't keeping you safe like he promised he would, that you could die. As you were about to demand again for him to tell you what's wrong, suddenly everything seemed to sway. Asra yelled your name as you collapsed through your legs. He managed to catch you on time before your head hit the ground. He panicked, yelling your name, begging you to wake up. He cursed before letting you go so he could snatch the books, so fast some of them fell off the table, and began flipping through. But he couldn't find anything making him ask where the hell it is. He ran to his other books, searching for anything about curses, yelling at Faust to help out. But Faust wasn't sure what to do besides worriedly slither around you before resting on your chest, nudging your chin with her head with this sad look that was asking you to wake up. Asra snatched the cards, angrily asking them who did this and for them to help him, promising he will do whatever they want. As he felt one of the cards heat up, something said he will have to go to their realm so he put them down so he could pick you up and carry you to the bed. He laid you down and promised you he will come back as quickly as he can. He wished to give you a kiss but he didn't know if he can touch the markings so he just stroked your hair as a goodbye then ran away, snatching his bag and scarf. He went to the Magician, going on a whole adventure just to get these special herbs. The Magician turned it into a liquid that Asra had to make you drink. As Asra was back on Earth, he never ran so quickly to his store, yelling for people in his way to move. As he arrived home, he didn't even bother to toss his shoes or bag off, just running to you. He told you he's back as he unscrewed the bottle's top before putting it to your lips, begging he doesn't spill it as he was trembling so hard. He watched the bottle empty and you swallow the liquid. As seconds past, he got more stressed, asking why it isn't working. He was ready to storm back to the Magician but suddenly the markings began fading away so he stared in amaze. As they fully vanished and your eyes fluttered open, tears just came in his eyes before he threw his arms around you, crying out your name, saying thank you. He wasn't even sure himself who he was thanking, probably you for waking up, for not being dead.

Nadia:

She noticed you were more tense lately so she invited you to drink some tea and eat some snacks with her, hoping this can relax you. She had a table set up at in the garden for some fresh air on this lovely day. You both drank and ate, both had a casual conversation about just some unimportant topic. She quite liked it even though it wasn't about anything special, she liked to finally have a conversation that isn't about politics or needing to speak so formal and careful with every word. As she sipped her drink, she noticed your eyes widen as you took a bite of your snack. You put your fist to your mouth causing her to worry you might be choking, only to drop her cup and gasp, covering her mouth. She couldn't even feel the warm tea splash on her lap as she was too busy staring in terror as you coughed up blood. She wished to move, to go to your side and pat your back, help you somehow, but she was frozen in shock. As you got up, your fight or flight kicking in, suddenly you fell to the side causing her to finally jump up, yelling your name. She rushed to you, falling to her knees and craddling your face, screaming for the nearby guards. After that, you were asleep for weeks. She called all doctors but none of them could find the cause of this sudden collapse, and that's when she realized if a doctor can't find it, a magician will. She personally went to Asra's shop, knocking impatiently and talking hurriedly to him, so fast he had to ask her to talk slower and explain it better. She couldn't work, she was too stressed, too worried, she just wanted to be sure you will survive this. She knew how waking up from a coma felt; the confusion, the disgust, the difficulty, so she was also worrying about that part for you. When Asra successfully managed to remove the curse and assured her you will wake up soon, she stayed by your side until you finally opened your eyes. As she saw your eyes open, she gasped and hurriedly sat on the bed aside you, calling your name in a shaky voice, trying to be calm and soft as not to scare or worry you, gently gripping your arm and asking how you feel.
