The Arcana x Reader Scenarios {Book Two}

When you make a wine toast to show your appreciation for them

This has been an unfinished draft for months now so I decided to finally try and finish it. Not a top idea nor executed well so sorry for that.

Asra:

It was just a little friends gathering so you stood up and said you want to make a toast to toast to everything that's happened this year. So you gave your speech then added you also want to toast to your amazing husband who has been nothing but supportive and patient with you and everything else and thank him for helping you through all these insane adventures. He watched with a smile then chuckled when everyone clapped and you lifted your glass to him so he lifted his to you in a "thank you" manner then sipped from it. Once it was over he approached you and gave your cheek a kiss, saying that toast was nice but he should be thanking you for being so supportive and patient whenever he goes on journeys or drags you with him on adventures in weird magical realms.

Nadia:

When you suddenly got up at the family dinner, saying you wish to make a toast, silence fell and everyone looked. You glanced to Nadia, who gave you a confused expression at your sudden toast. You then began your speech, thanking her siblings for treating you with kindness and as if you are one of the family, thanking them for all their help and support in this wild adventure. You held your glass to Nadia, thanking her for being such an amazing lover making her feel a little embarrassed but also smile and appreciate it, lifting her glass a little as if to say "of course". As you held your glass up, saying let us toast to a good future and that this happy family stays close and happy, everyone lifted their glasses, saying cheers and drank. Later, once they left and both were in her bedroom alone, she chuckled and said she could just feel her face heating up as you made your speech but she appreciated it and she could tell her siblings did as well.

Julian:

Everyone was drunk in the Rowdy Raven, including you, so you took your mug then stood up on your chair, trying to balance so Julian grabbed your legs, drunkly snickering not to fall on your face darling. You lifted your mug in a fast movement causing some of the drink to spill over so you cursed then yelled you want to make a toast so some looked. You slurred out you have an awesome boyfriend, then frowned and corrected yourself by patting Julian's head and saying husband. You restarted, this time saying you have an awesome husband and you are so thankful he's always here for you and all the life experience he's gained while so young is so admiring. Julian stared at you then got up and picked you up before kissing you then pulling away with such loving and admiring eyes, admitting this is so touching. You pulled him in for another heated kiss then both pulled away and looked to see more people now watching so he said let's continue this at home so you were quick to agree then both hurried out the tavern.

Muriel:

You were both attending dinner at Nadia with everyone else but you knew he wouldn't like it and it would only make him feel awkward and terrible, so you didn't do it. Instead, when dinner was over and he was on the balcony, admiring the view, you walked over with two glasses of wine, holding one to him, telling him you wish to make a small toast with him. He gave you a confused look but took the glass and asked toast to what. You lifted your glass, smiling and saying that this love keeps going till the end of time. You didn't practice before or really think much about it so it might not have been the best thing you said, but it still managed to make him blush and get shy. He lifted his glass, clinking it against yours and mumbling till the end of time, and even after that.

Portia:

It was just dinner between you two that she cooked. She gotten a bottle of wine from Nadia because Nadia wished to thank her for all her years of service to her so both had glasses of wine. You took yours mid-dinner then held it to her, saying you also want to make a toast to her. She was quick to drop her utensils and take her glass, swallowing her food with a nervous but curious and exciting look as she took her glass and lifted it as well. As you made your speech; thanking her for everything she has done, how she's the most hard working person you know, and you couldn't hope for a better adventuring buddy, she had a dorky grin on her face. Once finished and you said to her she laughed and said to her then clinked your glasses together before taking a big sip. She swallowed it quickly so she could thank you quickly and say she appreciates it so much. She couldn't help but tear up, so touched by the speech because it was a small gesture but it was still so nice and it's so fun that her hard work is being noticed and appreciated.

Lucio:

You knew he would love it if you did it at a big party since then everyone can hear how amazing he is and that he isn't all that bad. So at a big party, you took a glass and called for everyone's attention, which you got. You thanked everyone for coming before saying you just wished to make a toast to a special someone; that being Lucio. Some rolled their eyes and went back to their thing, but most stayed listening. Lucio rolled his eyes back at the people, thinking those are just fools who can't appreciate greatness. As you made your speehc, mentioning all the great things he done, someone asked what about all the awful things so you replied that's not what this toast is about then just continued. Once it was done everyone went back to their thing and Lucio tackled you in a tight hug, giving you kisses, saying that was so great and it's nice someone can appreciate all his amazing achievements and not just complain about all the bad stuff.

Valerius:

Both make many toasts, it became a weird thing you both do for the fun of it at dinners. So sometimes will just make a random toast over stuff. One time were both bored so you just made a toast over that ant you saw and how you should all be as hardworking as that ant was. Usually such toasts are made when you both already had quite a few wine glasses. But one time you thought you should make a proper toast to him. So during dinner you took your glass, which made Valerius already suspect something weird to be toasted to, only to get shocked when you said you want to toast to him. He nod with a suspicious look, wondering what's going on. You wanted to do it properly so stood up and held the glass high, saying you know your insane adventures can stress him out since he never knows how badly injured you will return home or if you will even return home so you truly appreciate his patience and trust. You added his sassy attitude can admittedly get too much at times but most times it's fun and you can't wish for a better partner to gossip over people over. You made sure to say you know he isn't one to wear his feelings on his sleeves but you can tell all he does and says to you are done with good intentions and because he loves you so you appreciate it all. You ended it by holding the glass to him, saying with a smile you love him so much and marrying him was the best decision you ever made. He stared at you then slowly clinked his glass to yours before sipping it, it all processing in his brain, and you knew it was done processing soon because when he removed the glass he couldn't help but have a big goofy smile on his reddening face. He covered his mouth, feeling embarrassed to be smiling like this, then he said thank you. He actually became a bit emotional by it but he tried his best not to start tearing up and embarrass himself even more. Even later he was still embarrassed but touched by it; his face always growing red with a big smile growing whenever he remembers the moment.

Devil:

There is nowhere on Earth you can make a toast of the Devil without being looked at like an insane person or even get thrown out for worshipping the Devil, so you just did it while you were both alone. You found some alcohol once so you just walked to him as he sat on his throne and poured two glasses full of the drink before holding on to him. He raised his eyebrow but took the drink, asking what you are planning now. You told him you want to make a toast for the fun of it so he sat better and looked at you with eyes that said he's ready to hear it so you began your toast; admitting you can't think of anything good to say since he's the Devil and it's still so damn insane you are not just dating but actually married to the Devil, but love him with all your heart nevertheless and all he has done for you is appreciated. You gave him an awkward little shrug that said that's all you can think of so he snickered then clinked his glass to yours, saying a good attempt at making a toast over him then downed his drink in one gulp.
