Chapter 15

Tara  POV
I heard noises making my eyes flutter open. I saw Klaus and a man in a white jacket standing over me. I realized my body was burning but I had chills. My stomach was aching. My vision began to go blurry and it was getting harder to keep my eyes open. I blacked out but not before hearing Klaus yelling orders.

Klaus POV
"FIX HER," I yelled at the fat doctor beside me sweating taking Tara's hand. " I think...I think Sir" he stuttered.
"STOP STUTTERING" I yelled. The man swallowed and began speaking.
"She's malnourished I think she developed a cold from this. She should be fine if she takes per-scribed pills and eats. She needs to eat three meals a day from now on".

"Okay. Give me the pills and leave. I will have one of my people send you the money". The man handed me the pill bottle and scurried out of the room. I sat in the chair beside the bed and waited for Tara to wake up.

Tara's POV
I opened my eyes to see Klaus sitting in the chair beside me which made me jump back hitting my head on the headboard. A thump was heard when I made contact with the headboard.

" ouch" I hissed. Klaus looked at me while he tried rubbing my head. "Don't touch me" I argued. Klaus rolled his eyes and sat me up. "You need to take care of yourself. I don't want you to get hurt or be sick like this ever again ".
"You know I wouldn't have become sick if I wasn't near you." Klaus looked at me with dark eyes.

"From now on you will eat three times a day. One of my siblings will watch you so you won't be throwing up anything. You need to take these pills so you can get better". I looked at him with angry eyes. I grabbed the pill out of his hands and swallowed it.

"You know I hate you right," I said.
"YOU WILL LEARN TO LOVE ME," Klaus exclaimed. He walked out of the room. My body felt normal after two hours. Klaus had got me to come down for dinner. Again I was sitting with Klaus family at the dining table. I looked at my plate to see chicken soup and bread. My stomach growled but I didn't want to eat with these liars. Klaus grabbed my hand making my head turn to him. "You haven't touched your plate. Eat your food".

"I can't N.I.K.L.A.U.S. I'm not hungry," I said. Klaus grabbed my plate and me. He walked me over to his seat. Setting my plate down and me onto his lap. I looked up at Klaus to see a smile on his face. "Now eat or I will feed it to you," he said.

I looked at my plate and started eating. While I was swallowing my food I felt Klaus's face in my neck. He was sniffing me. My body went stiff and my breath hitched.
"Come on, brother you're making her nervous" Khol joked. "Shut up," Klaus said.
"Klaus I've got news about what you asked yesterday," Elijah said. Klaus's face lit up like a Christmas tree.

He pulled me off his lap and sat me back down in his chair. He looked at me kissing my cheek. "Finish your food. Then go upstairs and sleep. I will see you in the morning" Klaus uttered. I watched him walk out of the room with Elijah, Khol, and Marcel. I was left with Rebecca and Freya. It was awkward. The only sound heard was the scraping of plates. Once I finished my food I got up.

"Wait Tara I know you're mad at me but I want you to understand my brother has never love ever until he found you. I just wanted him to be happy" Rebecca said.

"Yea but you took away my happiness for his. I thought I could trust you but I guess I can't". I walked out of the dining room and went up the stairs. I walked into the hallway and stopped looking at the crack door to Klaus's study. I could hear Klaus's voice.

"I got one of my men to kill him," Marcel said. "I need confirmation that...that boy Damon is DEAD," Klaus said. Marcel pulled out his phone and handed it to Klaus. Klaus looked closely at the phone to see a picture. "He is dead. Now he can never see Tara again" Klaus laughed darkly. My breath hitched. I slowly walked back to the room. My heart was aching. Tears kept streaming down my face. I climbed into bed and cried myself to sleep.

"Klaus was a liar".
