Title: 10/10
On first impression, I thought it was boring, but then realized the title is the spoiler to the whole story, and that it's from a series named "beautiful", so it's perfect!

Cover: 8/10
The cover also matches the story very well, but the short blurb on the top isn't very visible. Using a brighter color would look nice. And even though the painting is beautiful, it's from the 18th century, meanwhile, the story takes place in the 1850s. I know it doesn't matter much, but there are a lot of beautiful Victorian portraits that would match the story nicely!

Blurb: 10/10
Well-written blurb, organized too. It describes the lead characters nicely, which is useful for readers beginning. No mistakes!

Plot: 9/10
The plot was very engaging, organized, and original! I honestly haven't read any book like this. I have a love for historic paintings and this got me so interested! But felt like there was some lack of climax, but that's okay since it's only the beginning.

Originality: 9.5/10
Everything is honestly so original, and also the fact that it mentions football, a lot of people forget it existed back then. Adding racism and sexism made it more realistic. Some of the dirty jokes were kind of funny, but all of the innuendoes is a bit irrelevant considering the fact that people in that era were very conservative (except in paintings-)

Grammar: 9.5/10
The book has very good grammar and choice of words. There are only some very tiny mistakes, so I'd advise you to go through your chapters when you publish them.

Characters: 9/10
The characters had great names, individual personalities, and their own goals. Loved the male lead, and the female lead was also my favorite but her mood seems to swing a lot? Like at home she's very sweet but whenever she's out or confronting the male lead she becomes almost an invincible boss- I liked both versions but it's just doesn't feel like she's the same person all the time. The villain seems to be every part of his job- womanizer, racist, he seems interesting and I hope you add some character depth to him.

Writing: 9/10
The way you describe things is amazing! The only thing that bothered my picky-ness was that your sentences, though perfectly formed, are a bit too long, adding commas would make it great.

You can write: Captain Newman loaded his gun again and aimed at his shooting target meters away from him.

Or,

Captain Newman loaded his gun again and aimed at his shooting target, which was meters away from him.

Chapters: 9/10
The chapter length was okay, perhaps a bit long which can disengage people, but that's hard to do with such an amazing plot! Maybe stopping in the middle of a climax would make things more exciting and shorter.

Overall Enjoyment: 10/10
I enjoyed the story! Loved the originality and even though I'm so picky I just couldn't find anything wrong with the story, everything is so perfect!

In conclusion: 93/100
I loved reading this story, got my history-obsessed arse happy. The writer is amazing and creative, I wish you the best of luck in the future!
