"Jungkook!" I screamed, pushing my face against the window. "It snows in America?" It looked so pretty, I didn't even care if it was cold outside.

"Of course it does."

"Put on a damn jacket, we're going out."

I was always the type of person that loved staying inside and locking myself away in my room. But ever since I moved here, I've felt the need to go out almost every day.

"Alright, but we can't go out for too long. Mingi's concert is tonight."

"Oh my god!" I gasped. "I completely forgot. We'll go there now then. He better let us in early."

We left the dorm within 30 minutes and made our way to Webster Hall. It wasn't a massive venue, but it's definitely popular. I'm shocked he's already touring in America considering his career just took off a couple months ago. But one thing I've picked up on is the K-pop craze in the states. It's actually kind of scary? There's been a few times actually where girls have come up to me and Jungkook on the street and asked us if we were idols. Awkward. Although sometimes we say yes and fuck with them just a bit. I don't really feel bad because clearly people must think every Korean that steps foot in the US is a famous idol. That's just weird. But anyway, girls caught on to Mingi pretty quickly. They love his style, they think he's funny, creepy edits of him pop up on my Tik Tok feed sometimes. He's living the full life of someone being sexualized and idolized every single day. I guess that's just how it goes when you're in that industry.

We got to the venue and there was already a line wrapped around the block. The concert doesn't even start for another five hours, this is insane.

"Hi." I said to the security guard out front. "I'm good friends with Mingi." I showed him the VIP pass I had for me and Jungkook, but he didn't seem convinced.

"VIP is let in an hour before general admission." Great, he doesn't believe me.

"I'm telling the truth, Mingi is my friend. I'll call him if you want." He thought I was bluffing. I took out my phone and dialed Mingi's number, already getting annoyed. "They're not letting us in." I sighed, relieved he answered the phone. I put him on speaker for the security guard to hear as well.

"Who, the security guard? Did you tell him your name?" Mingi asked.

"Would he have known it?"

"Yeah." He laughed.

"Oh!" I smiled and looked at the man. "I'm Hyunjin."

"Hold on, I'll come out for a sec." Mingi said before hanging up the phone. Suddenly the front door opened and he peeked his head out. His fans noticed him immediately and started screaming at the top of their lungs. "Come on." He whispered and waved us both in. "Long time, no see!" He smiled and picked me up, squeezing me tight before putting me back down.

"It's good seeing you. How's tour been?"

"This shit is tiring, but it's fun."

"Oh, this is Jungkook, by the way." I introduced him since he was awkwardly standing behind me.

"I've heard so much about you and not from Hyunjin." Mingi laughed.

"Oh I'm sure." Jungkook smiled.

"Have you heard from him?" I asked.

"Fuck no and I don't plan on talking to him either. I heard all about that shit with Minho. That made it ten times worse for Yunho." I thought it was funny how his main concern was Yunho even though Minho is completely out of control and Felix broke up with me.

"Can you please tell me why you only talk to him? I mean seriously, you don't have time for anyone else other than Yunho." I know exactly why of course, but I'd love to know what bullshit excuse he'll come up with this time.
