(this part reminds the author of Herzeleid song, by Rammstein)

Going back to what I was saying, days passed, and we didn't hear from Ron again. At our next lunch, noticing my sadness, Mr. Salazar made a comment, saying that I should smile more because that way, "it brightens other people's days too." I appreciated the compliment but remained reserved.

Coming home and seeing that there was no news from Ron discouraged me. He brought back a lot of memories of Joe, from the time we started dating. Joe's memories decided to haunt me, and I ended up spending some time in the stone from the past.

Before going to sleep, Cesar came to my bedroom door.

"I'm sure he'll turn up soon. Don't worry so much about it."

"He reminds me of the beginning of my relationship with Joe... of that fun phase, you know? Everyone was excited at home, deciding where to go for fun, making plans..." and then, I broke down. Cesar rushed over and hugged me, feeling the same pain as me.

At that moment, Cesar's embrace was a thousand times better than the stone of the past.

He lay down and continued hugging me until I fell asleep.
