It was too much.

Getting woken up like that by Cesar!

Unbelievable!

Ron intervened, trying to calm things down. I was furious.

I got out of bed and headed to the closet to pick an outfit for going out. As I walked, Cesar confronted me again.

"Where do you think you're going?"

I rummaged through the closet and chose something comfy yet stylish. When he saw my choice, he objected:

"You're not going to see him. I won't allow it."

That's when I lost it. I stepped towards him and gripped his face tightly, digging my nails into his skin.

"Just like I didn't want you staying with Shannon, but you did it anyway, didn't you?" I practically yelled in his face.

"Lilly, step back," Ron urged, stepping between us.

I backed off and resumed sorting my clothes.

"I won't put up with this, Lilian. Not anymore! You can't keep wandering off while you're married to me!" Cesar yelled.

I shut the bathroom door.

As I got ready, I paused now and then, questioning if I was making the right decision. Starting afresh, from scratch, was daunting. As for Cesar, there seemed to be no solution. Something told me that this was the real Cesar, and all this time, I'd only seen a glimpse of him.

Yes, there was only one thing to do.

I emerged from the bathroom fully dressed. I packed a simple bag from the closet with a few essentials. I grabbed my phone and the card from my girls' night out.

"Where are you going?" Cesar asked.

Fully prepared, I made my way to the door and declared:

"Cesar, Rony. Thank you for everything. I'm leaving. Chaos, best of luck. MaryAnne, you can go to hell for creating Chaos."

With that, I left, and they followed. Cesar said something, but I brushed it off, heading determinedly to the car.

Once inside, I instructed the driver to take me to the nearest luxury hotel in the city.

Upon arrival, I dismissed the driver and checked into a suite that caught my eye. There, I poured myself a glass of champagne, toasting to my new beginning.
