My Dearest Mother,

It is with heavy hearts that Guilherme and I bring you the devastating news of the passing of our brothers. Klaus, Tavius, and Velma are no longer with us, their lives cut short after a tragic confrontation.

The events unfolded as they ventured out in search of food for us, aware of our weakened state which made hunting alone too challenging. Unfortunately, they fell into an ambush set by their intended prey, only to be ensnared by a group of hunters led by a monstrous creature. Even our dear Velma, hearing their cries, rushed to aid them but tragically met the same fate at the hands of demons.

Amidst their ordeal, Tavius managed to transmit a mental image of the creature leading their assailants. Despite enduring torture and captivity, they met their end at sunrise the following day.

We bid you farewell, Mother, for this place is no longer safe for us. We must seek refuge elsewhere, believing you to be in less imminent danger. Your strength and resilience, coupled with the protection of your guardian, offer reassurance that harm will not befall you.

Though parted for now, I hold onto the hope of our reunion in the future. Until then, the ache of missing you weighs heavy on my heart.

Guilherme shares in my sentiments, assuring you of his enduring affection and remembrance. And I trust you won't mind if I echo his sentiment, expressing my love for you without reservation.

You are cherished beyond measure, Mother. May you hold us in your thoughts as we will hold you in ours.

Until we meet again,

Miguel

P.S. The bestial creature responsible for our brothers' demise is not the same immortal pursuing you."

Awakening to such news was a jolt. I had only just begun to know them, and now they are gone. The desert has always been fraught with peril for them. I couldn't help but wonder if that's why they were confined here—perhaps due to past deeds, or simply because they were vampires, perceived as monsters, lethal creatures.

My loves, my cherished vampires, now reduced to just two. And to think that my dear Miguel took the time to pen this letter, elucidating the grim circumstances. My affection for him only deepens.
