it was a warm spring afternoon and two children were playing on the swings, swinging back and forth while watching the clouds go by.
"hey, yamaguchi?" sarah asked out of curiousity.
"mm?" yamaguchi hummed as he swung back and forth.
"do you think my ear abnormality makes me different from everyone else?" she asked.
"of course not!" he answered at once, staring at her, "you're pretty even if you have your ear flopping down!" he said, "though i think it makes you special."
he gave a grin which made her smile too.
"thanks tadashi."
"anytime, sarah."
