zarrin crept around the hallways while swinging a pink plastic bag, looking for a certain bedhead to give him her valentine's day present. suddenly, someone tackled her from behind.

"hi tetsu," she said, hugging onto his long arms currently wrapped around her neck loosely, "could you let go of me for a minute?"

"why?" he asked, hugging onto her tighter.

"it'll be worth it, promise," she said.

slowly, he let go of her and she turned to face him and handed him the plastoc bag she was carrying.

"oya? what's this?" he asked.

he took out a box which was wrapped with a wrapping paper decorated with red hearts. on it was a note that said "lots of love, zarrin xx". grinning, he opened it slowly and carefully to reveal a box of knee pads.

"you're never wearing knee pads, so i thought it would be nice to give you a pair," she said.

"arigatou," he said, ruffling her hair slightly.

"do you wanna come over to watch some anime and eat snacks?" she asked.

"anything for you," he answered, curving his lips upwards.

tea walked into the gym to get a very loud greeting by fukurodani's boisterous captain, "hey hey hey! If it isn't tea-chan!"

"nihao, koutarou," she said, "is akaashi here?"

"he's right behind you!" bokuto said, pointing finger guns to someone behind her.

she turned, and sure enough, it was him, looking as pretty as always.

"you needed me?" akaashi asked.

(pfFT WHY DOES THIS SOUND WRONG OMFG) 

"happy valentine's day, keiji," she said, handing him a photography book she had put together.

it had a water colour splashed front with the words "akaashi keiji" and very small "from tea" on it in a very aesthetic cursive font. inside were empty pages for akaashi to put pictures in.

"arigatou, tea," he said, giving a slight smile.

"so you're telling me," qq said, looking at van with an are-you-kidding-me look, "it's valentine's day and you haven't gotten anything for kei?"

"i don't even know what to get him!" she said defensively.

"well, you're not getting away this valentine's day without giving kei something!" qq said.

"oh yeah, they are selling heart-shaped helium balloons at the canteen today!" sarah said, "you could get one!"

later that day, van walked towards the gym with kimberly, holding the white balloon.

"are you sure that's all?" kimberly asked.
