kimberly knew the red string of fate was real. she could see other people's strings. it was definitely real. but she couldn't be bothered to find her own soulmate. she wanted to focus on her studies instead.
sugawara knew about the red string of fate as well. however, he was too absorbed in volleyball and his studies to find his soulmate.
"eh, suga, why don't you even try?" daichi asked.
"i don't want to get distracted," sugawara answered simply, turning his head back to his assignment.

"mama goose! come with meee!" qq whined, clinging onto the poor girl's sleeve.
"i have to go and meet van after class," kimberly said matter-of-factly.
"just for a moment! pleeeeaaassseeee!" qq whined, tugging on her sleeve, "vannnnnn!"
"yo," van said, walking out of the classroom.
"help me tell mama goose she has to follow meeee!" she said, pointing straight at her, "i wanna show her someth—someone!"
"oya oya oya?" van said, wriggling her eyebrows, then nudging kimberly, "yeah, you should totally go with qq."
"s-shut up!" she said, elbowing van hard in the arm.
qq's eyes lit up in excitement and grabbed kimberly's arm, dragging her straight to the gym.
"suga-saaaannnn!" she yelled.
"ossu, qq!" the silver-haired male said, "oh, hey kimberly-chan!"
just then, he raised his hand in greeting, and qq's eyes widened even more.
the red string on his finger was connected to kimberly's.
"yabai!" she screamed, "holy shit! you guys are actually—"
"sOULMATES!!" tanaka and nishinoya yelled as they spotted the red string.
