in this shaken, twisted world

the society we live in is cruel and unfair, don't you agree? the white men are given privelleges, while the others are treated as less superior. the society also imposes its standards and definition of "beauty" on young girls, telling them to look like a bunch of barbie dolls. it's unfair, cruel and plain stupid.

i gradually become transparent, unable to be seen

it's exactly the same in school. the better-looking and talented ones have more friends, and the ones that don't stand out as much have lesser friends.

please don't bother looking for me; don't stare at me

qian looked decent at the very least, and had talent. but she wasn't recognised for them and had only a small group of friends by her side.

i merely don't want to hurt you

like all girls, she had a crush on the third year volleyball captain, oikawa tooru. he was handsome, charming in every way, and talented. little did she know, he liked her too. he recognised her from the choir performances and she was in the first row, with a strong and beautiful voice.

inside a world, that came out of someone's imagination

unfortunately, in the society that we live in, the ones better off usually do not mix with those that do not fall under the same "category" with them.

so please remember me; as vivid as i was

all the two could ever do was to pass glances at each other and not let their paths cross. all because of the rules of this world we live in.
