headcannon: akaashi rly likes hugs, esp cuddles

though akaashi would never openly admit it, he liked getting hugs, especially cuddles. when he was with tea, sharing the same bed, he liked having her in his embrace and vice versa. with her arms around him, it reassured him of the fact that she was there.

and when she wasn't in his arms... well, let's say he would get a little... moody about it.

this particular night, akaashi was bunking over at tea's place, because his brother was having an all-out party and akaashi wasn't willing to take a sleepless school night. tea, being a very considerate girlfriend, allowed him to stay over. her parents also agreed, seeing akaashi as part of their family.

it was two in the morning when akaashi couldn't feel anything in his arms. opening his eyes wide, he noticed tea was hugging one of her many stuffed toys on the other side of the bed. frowning, he rolled over and gave her a little nudge.

"tea?" he whispered.

a small bitter look graced the sleeping girl's features as she hugged the toy closer to her.

getting rather impatient, he continued nudging her. she simply swatted his hand away and continued hugging her toy.

giving a slight huff of defeat, akaashi rolled back over to his spot on the bed.

"what is it, akaashi...?" tea murmured, rubbing her eyes a little as she rolled over to him.

"i want to cuddle," he whispered, a small pout formed on his lips.

a pink tint came over her cheeks as she abandoned her stuffed toy and opened her arms slowly as a sign for him to hug her.

he rolled over and wrapped his arms around her securely as he buried his head into the crook of her neck. she placed a hand around his back, and one in his dark hair.

"goodnight," she whispered as her eyes began to give way to sleep.

"goodnight, he murmured against her skin.
