belinda led iwaizumi down the steps and to the living room. once leaving him there, she headed to the kitchen to produce some biscuits and two glasses of milk.

"here you go," she said as she placed the food on the table.

"thank you," he said, before proceeding to eat th biscuits.

after a while, he said, "hey. let's play a game."

"alright, fine," belinda said.

"truth or dare?" iwaizumi asked.

"truth," she answered

"what do you think of our relationship?" he asked, "you know, us."

there was a short moment of silence before she answered, "there was never an us."

he raised his eyebrows in curiosity.

"i love you," she said.

no response. he just couldn't bring hinself to say it.

"see? that's what i mean," she said softly, tears threathening to spill from her eyes.

quickly, she wiped her tears away and said, "alright. your turn. truth or dare?"

he opened his mouth to answer, but the sound of his phone ringing cut him off.

"sorry," he mouthed as he took his phone out and glanced at the caller id, and answering, "hello?"

"iwaizumi? could you come back to keep me company?" nagi's voice was unmistakable from the other line, "i'm kinda afraid of being alone."

"i'm coming over," he answered before ending the call.

she looked into his eyes, hers full of hurt and sorrow. was he really going to her? did he never get over her?

"i'm sorry, belinda, i really am," iwaizumi said before giving a slight bow and exiting the house.

belinda sat there, eyes hollow. she didn't know what to think.

in cliché romance movies, the protagonist gets into a messy love triangle and falls in love with the bad boy.

and in this film, belinda was just a side character that liked the good guy, but never gets her love acknowledged.
