kimberly loved grapes. but she loved it more when she gets fed grapes by sugawara.
it was a warm and balmy spring afternoon. it was getting close to summer, and sugawara thought it would be a good idea to have a picnic before spring ended.
they had set up their mat under the cool shade of a sakura tree, which was shedding its flowers for summer. there had been a comfortable silence between them for a while, with sugawara sitting with his legs straight while reading a novel, and kimberly lying on his legs, watching the clouds go by.
sugawara set his book down and dug around their basket to produce a bundle of grapes.
"oh, so i did pack some grapes after all," he said, beginning to pop them into his mouth.
he glanced down at his girlfriend, who was looking at the fruit longingly. he chuckled and said, "open wide."
she did what she was told with a slight blush on her face. he placed the grape in her lips and grinned.
"was it sweet enough?" he asked.
"more than sweet," she said, chewing the fruit.
