"So we're not doing a big vacation this year."
"Yeah?"
"What would you guys like to do instead?" I looked at Noah and didn't know what to say.
"Well, we went to the waterpark already. What else could we really do?"
"I wanna go to Disneyland!"
"Leia, that's a lot of money."
"It's only two dollars to get in!"
"More like a couple thousand."
"That's a lot. I only have two dollars." She showed me and I laughed.
"But seriously guys. Any ideas. Bella?"
"I don't have any ideas, Mama. I don't really care about doing much this summer."
"Really, how come?"
"I don't know. It just isn't important to me if you know what I mean."
"I thought you loved the summer," Noah said.
"I do but like not going on vacation isn't going to kill me. Being chill isn't going to kill me either if you know what I mean."
"I see what it is. You want to stay in New York to hang out with Brayden and Axel."
"No...not at all."
"That sounded pretty iffy." Mom isn't wrong either.

Central Park (Olivia's Perspective)
Today was my date with Bella and I was pretty content. She was snacking on some strawberries and I watched as she ate.
"Why are you watching me like that?"
"Because you're making a mess of yourself. Eat properly, Bella." I wiped her face and she groaned.
"I'm not a little baby."
"But you'll always be mine."
"I guess it's one of those things I'll understand when I become a mother right?"
"Precisely."
"Mom, I was wondering if I could hang out with Hannah tomorrow because I'm free all day."
"I'll let you, but I want you to do your chores before you go."
"Okay. Mom?"
"Yes, honey?"
"What were the kinds of thing that you used to do when you were my age?"
"When I was your age?"
"Yeah."
"Well, I was definitely outside a lot. Gossiping, talking about boys, making friendship bracelets. Bella, I'm not that old. We can definitely relate to a lot of things sweetheart."
"You are that old." She joked.
"I see you're trying to get in with me."
"Eh." I rubbed my daughters back as she ate her burrito bowl.
"So Bella, are you going to do any sports in your school next year?"
"I don't know."
"You don't know?! Next year is your most important year Bella! Those are the grades that high schools look at. They also pay attention to the sports you play, people will be writing your recommendations. I think you should do a sport love."
"I'll see."
"I'm glad that you're open to the idea."
"I never said I wasn't open I just don't really have those things on my mind, Mom. I'm not thinking ahead right now."
"I get that you want to live in the present my love but there's nothing wrong with thinking ahead. Especially if it seriously impacts your future. Understand?"
"Totally."

2 Weeks Later (Hershey, Pennsylvania)
(Bella's Perspective)Diary Entry
Elliot surprised us with a random road trip. I was quite surprised when my mom threw the duffel bags and stuff at us and told us to go. I wondered why Elliot would randomly take us here. Though I didn't have a problem with it, I did at the same time. I just have a very weird feeling about it. I guess I'll talk more about it later, I'm going to dinner with Noah and El. Hopefully, I'll continue tonight."Ladies first." I grabbed a towel and my clothes so I could change into them quickly after my shower. In the shower, I had some deep thoughts. I thought about what Mom had said to me about living in the present and not focusing on my future. I'm 7th grade, I needed to be serious! My grades and my behavior now will affect the high school I get into. It's a lot to take in. I hopped out of the shower and got dressed quickly. It was practically a crop top and shorts. Nothing serious. It's not like it we were having a formal dinner or anything like that. When I got out Noah went in and I sat on the bed with my diary in hand, wondering of what to write.
"Bella?"
"Sorry, I was just thinking hard about something."
"About what?"
"About school. I wanna make Mom extra proud this year." Elliot sat next to me and smiled.
"Extra proud? Do you know how proud you make your Mother every day?"
"I'm not sure."
"Very. She's so proud of the person you're becoming."
"She doesn't really say it like that. She usually says that she's happy for me."
"Because She is. You make your mother very happy."
"That's good. Because sometimes I realize she gets sad over Lewis. She has those nightmares and she's like crying in her sleep almost. She says she, okay but I know she gets depressed sometimes. El, do you know what happened to her?"
"Bella, I'm elated that you care so much for Liv. I really am. But, certain things just aren't appropriate to talk about. You know what I mean, right sweetheart?"
"Yeah, I get it. When I'm older I'll ask her about it. Maybe then it'll be appropriate." He put his arm around me and I smiled.
"How come we're going out for dinner El?"
"You'll see in a little bit. I promise."
"You've been like very secretive about this whole trip. Something's not right Mr.Stabler."
"Everything is just fine. Trust me."

New York, NY (Leia's Perspective)
Elliot said that he was taking Bella and Noah on the trip to Pennsylvania to tell them a secret and I was not allowed to tell Mommy! He said that if I was a good girl and didn't tell her he'd tell me to. So I promised to not tell!
"Leia, what do you want to eat?"
"Meatballs please!" Mommy and Uncle Fin ordered a lot of food! I think it's because Mommy wants to take it to go.
"Here you go, my love. How does it taste?"
"It tastes good! Uncle Fin, may I have the parmesan cheese please?"
"Yes you may sweetheart, and let Liv put it on for you, okay?"
"Sure! Mommy put a little bit please."
"Alright sweetheart."
"Sometimes it makes my tummy hurt and I have to potty," I whispered.
"What was that sweetheart."
"I was talking to myself. Please don't put too much."
"Alright, Leia." It was a yummy pasta. But I needed it to be MORE yummy. This pasta made me think of Bella.
"Mommy, I miss Bella!"
"I miss her too baby."
"Speaking Of Bella, I haven't seen her in a while how she's doing?"
"She's doing absolutely amazing. Trying her
hardest to make me broke."
"She'll grow out of it. Kids, am I right?"
"I'm a kid!"

Dinner (Noah's Perspective)
I just find it interesting that Elliot took us here suddenly. Bella and I have both been talking about it.
"These fries are really good. Right, Noah?" Bella asked nicely.
"They are." I dipped some into some mustard and Bella made a shocked face.
"That's really gross."
"It's not."
"Yes, it is. But whatever." We were waiting for our entrees to come and it was taking quite a while.
"Bella, are you cold?"
"A little bit. Why do they have the a/c on blast in this place?!" I have her my jacket and she smiled.
"El? Can we call Mom since we've been waiting for so long?"
"You can." She used Elliot's phone and called Mom.
"Hey, sweetheart you look amazing!"
"Hi, Mom! Thanks, I just have an amazing sense of style!"
"You got it from me."
"I don't think so. If I got it from you I'd be wearing a lot more black."
"Is Elliot there? Let me speak to him. Where Noah?"
"They're both here. We're at a restaurant!" She handed Elliot the phone and they started to talk.
"El, you have to bring me back a treat or I will be sad."
"We'll bring you back a treat we promise. Liv, I'll get back to you the food's coming."
"Alright! Goodnight stay safe!"
"Night." When Elliot hung up Bella looked confused.
"El, they said they weren't ready anytime soon."
"I know,"
"Can you tell us what the secret is? I wanna know." He smiled happily and put down the phone.
"As you guys know I've known your mother for decades."
"Decades? That's really long."
"I know. And after knowing each other for so long and things like that you sort of begin to have a genuine love for the person." Bella smiled and I could tell that this was going to be something special. Is this what I think it is?To be continued-
