Long Island, NY (May 27th) (Olivia's Perspective)
"Holding those brownies tight?"
"Yeah!"
"I bet you're excited about this party, aren't you?"
"Who doesn't like the pool?"
"Bella, we have a pool in our backyard."
"This is different Mom!"
"Because it's with the boy you like, I get it." We both laughed and I look outside the window.
"Are you staying?"
"For a little bit, and then I'll go back home. Why? Do you want me to stay?"
"No, you can stick to your original plan."
"Alright. Bella?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you feel better today?"
"Mom, I'm fine!" Bella muttered.
"You weren't fine last night when I walked in on you crying."
"I don't want to talk about that."
"Okay, I hear you, sweetheart, I'm just checking in. No need to get so defensive." I pulled over, parked the car, and we went inside the Romano's house.
"Liv, long time no see."
"Beth! How are the kids?"
"Great, how are yours?"
"They're doing just fine. Where's Hank?"
"He's outside grilling, come I need to show you the little tiki bar we've been setting up. I think you'll love it."
"I think anyone loves a good drink. Bella, you can go outside honey."
"Okay!" She showed me the bar and it was nice, I've been thinking of having one in my own backyard. As Beth was talking to me, I watched as Bella played around with her friends, mainly Jake. I wondered how I didn't catch on beforehand.

Jake's Pool Party (Bella's Perspective)
"Okay, let's play truth or dare." Leah handed me a towel and I covered myself, as I was shivering a lot.
"Spin the bottle and see who it lands on." It landed on me. Yay. I wonder what I should choose. Truth or dare?
"Truth or dare?"
"Truth, last time I said dare I got grounded."
"I remember, Elliot was so pissed off when you asked him that."
A Few Months Ago
"Elliot?" He was making dinner and I set the camera near this dishwasher so he wouldn't notice.
"Yes?"
"What does queef mean?"
"What?" I laughed quietly, as he started to get angry.
"What does it mean El?"
"Bella, that isn't funny, you should know better."
"But I'm asking you a question, what does it mean?!"
"I'm not going to answer that, that's an extremely inappropriate question to ask me. You can go to your room until dinners ready. You're grounded."
"But, for what?! I just asked a question."It was hilarious, but certainly not worth it. I got yelled at about how inappropriate that is. But no one actually explained it to me funny thing.
"Okay, describe the person you are crushing on."
"Ouuu." This was going to be somewhat tricky, considering he was sitting across from me, but I had to do it.
"Okay, brown hair, green eyes."
"Anything more?! That's really vague."
"If I say more, then it won't be a secret anymore."
"Damn, alright spin the bottle, Bella." I spin the bottle and it landed on Jessica.
"Truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"I dare you to drink the concoction we made earlier."
"Aww, that's freaking sick. That's gross!"
"Do it!"
"Do it!"
"Do it!"
"Fine, fine. Pass the bottle." The concoction I made her drink was filled with like five different sodas, Nutella, peanut butter, pretzels, hot sauce, and other nasty crap all shaken together. I hope she had fun.
"Why does this taste like garlic?!!"
"Were you not paying attention when we mixed everything up?!" Hilary said with a chuckle.
"She's always in her own world. Was it tasty?"
"It tasted like ass."
"How do you know what ass tastes like?" Reese asked.
"What an amazing point! Look at how speechless she is!"
"Stop it!"

My Apartment (Carisi's Perspective)
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" I answered the door to see Bella standing in front.
"Bella, what are you doing here?!" I asked before letting her inside.
"Well, I really need to use the bathroom, one, two, I know you're home, wanted to say hi before I go home!" I smiled at Bella as she went to use the restroom.
"One second!" I sat in the living room and waited for Bella to finish up.
"Hey Uncle C?"
"Yes, sweetheart."
"How are you?"
"I'm doing fine, how are you?"
"I'm doing okay!"
"Did you tell Liv you were coming over here?"
"Yeah, she knows! I can't stay long, Elliot's waiting." I nodded and watched as she started to do some homework.
"I've never asked, but how's everything with Elliot?"
"It's good. Never really had a problem with him." I nodded and she looked up.
"I like Elliot more than I like Tucker."
"I can see that you weren't the nicest at times."
"I feel awful about it sometimes."
"Well, you were a lot younger and you weren't used to having other people in the house, I get it."
"Thanks, C."
"Do you think that you'll ever see Elliot as a father?"
"I don't know, I've known him since I was nine. But, it just feels weird. I don't even like to call my own father 'Dad'. It's going to take a while because of the related stigma. It's pretty complicated for me."
"At least you're being mature about it."
"This time around. I feel really bad, but I don't know why."
"It's okay to have guilt." Bella sighed and I got up.
"Where are you going?"
"Getting my jacket. I'm going to drop you home. It's dark now."
"Uncle-"
"It's alright, besides I need to pay Leia a visit."
"I'm not sure she's accepting visitors at this time."
"Why do you say that?"
"She won't let anyone in her room these days without a special piece of paper."
"I'll go over there and fix that right away?"
"How?"
"With some cannoli." Bella laughed loudly and it brightened up my day. She has such a beautiful smile.

Da Nonna Rosa (Elliot's Perspective)
"Daddy, I can't reach it. Can you pass the cheese please?!"
"Of course sweetheart. Let me sprinkle it for you."
"Thanks, Daddy!" I gave Leia a kiss and she ate her pasta quietly.
"So, why are we out for dinner?" Noah asked.
"I wanna know too."
"Well, Elliot and I want to tell you guys some good news."
"Good news?!"
"We've been talking a lot and we've decided to go to Ireland for a week in August!"
"That's cool, I've never been to Europe before."
"Where's Ireland?" Leia asked with her toothless smile.
"When we get home I'll show you it on the map in the spare room. Okay?"
"Awesome!"
"But, why Ireland?"
"It's nice to go somewhere else for a change, I want you guys to be well-traveled individuals."
"Sounds nice."
"Bella, soft face." I heard Olivia say. Bella has seemed rather down this week. I was thinking it would pass, everyone gets upset every once and a while, it's normal.
"Mom, you're embarrassing me, stop."
"Okay, alright. Sorry."
"Daddy, can you tell me a story?"
"About what?"
"About you. Like when you were my age."
"When he was your age he dressed up as a carrot," Olivia said quietly.
"Really? That's cool! Mommy, did you play dress up?"
"Of course I did. I loved to pretend I was a little princess. Bella too. She was a very imaginative girl."
"Noah too?"
"Noah pretended to be a dinosaur."
"He's silly!"
"Am not!"
"Yes, you are!" Noah tickled Leia and she giggled loudly.
"You're very silly Noah!"
"Don't tickle her anymore she's out of breath. Drink some water sweetie."
"I love tickles."
"Trust me, we know."
"I'm gonna tickle you, just when we get home! And, I'm gonna slap your booty!" Everyone at the table laughed and we started to wrap up our dinner.
"Where are we going now?"
"We're going to go back home."
"But, what about ice cream."
"We have at home baby. Come on, let's put our jackets back on." I enjoy family dinners because it allows me to talk to the kids in a non disciplinary way, and we get to truly bond. We just have so much fun together.
