Last Day Of School
"Ready to get some boba?"
"Yeah!" We just got out of school and we were starting to walk towards Kung Fu Tea. It was just Jake and me because we just wanted to hang out alone if you know what I mean.
"You sure you won't get in trouble for this?"
"Nahh, it's in the direction of the train we need to take anyways. And to make it t even better I could walk home from there." We hopped on a 3 train so we could go to 42nd street to transfer. On the whole ride, we couldn't stop joking around with each other.
"No, you caused Mr.S to yell at us today for talking too much!"
"No, that was definitely you."
"This is 72nd Street, the next stop is Times Square 42nd Street."
"Since you so graciously offered to take me for boba, how about you lead us through the station."
"I don't even take this route."
"What do you mean? Don't you have to transfer here."
"I take the 2 train."
"It's the same thing, you just don't wanna lead!" I rolled my eyes as we got off the train and walked to catch a Q that would take us to where we needed to go.
"Man, I'm shivering."
"Here, take my scarf." His scarf! I bet it smells just like him!
"Thanks." This really makes a big, fat, spectacular difference.

4:10 PM (Elliot's Perspective)
"Bella, where were you? You have dance soon."
"Sorry, the trains were just a bit messed up. I'll go get ready!" She ran right past me and up the stairs as quickly as possible.
"Elliot, I'm ready for dance, and Bella is not. Look at me!"
"Dance clothes on?"
"Yeah! I'm wearing my booty shorts! Cause I'm gonna shake my booty in hip hop!"
"Definitely not!" We both laughed and I gave Leia a kiss.
"Elliot, if I'm good can we get a treat?"
"Mhm. You can get a treat and then we have to go pick up Noah."
"Okay, and why is Bella home late, she's gonna make us late!"
"I know. Give me a second, I'm going to go ask Bella a question."
"Okay, and when you come back you better give me a kissy!" I went upstairs to Bella's room and knocked gently on the door.
"Bella? May I come in?"
"Yeah, I'm ready." I opened the door and Bella had her jacket on and headphones on.
"Never mind, let's go. You finished at a good time."
"What did you wanna talk to me about?"
"We'll talk about it later."
"So Elliot, I gotta ask you a question."
"What is that question?" I asked with a smile.
"So about the wedding, and stuff-"
"I'm listening sweet pea."
"I don't know if I wanna say it now."
"You can ask me anything under the sun Bella, I'm not going to judge you." She went into the passenger seat while I buckled Leia in the back.
"I don't think that it'd be polite if I still called you Elliot after the wedding. You were nice enough to allow me to call you by your first name."
"Bella, you can call me whatever you feel comfortable calling me after the wedding. Okay?" She nodded and started to look out the window.
"Elliot, it's so yucky outside and we have to go to dance."
"I know, super yucky. But, you committed to dance Lei, so you have to go."
"But not when it's yucky outside!"
"Remember what we talked about? If you're good you'll get a treat." Bella smiled and then turned the radio on.
"What is this?"
"It's Doja Cat, but it's censored. The girl from the tik tok dance El!"
"Oh yes! When we go home show me another one."
"Why do you like them so much?"
"I get to dance without one of you kids shutting me down."
"And, that video we made got like 5,000 likes."
"5,000?"
"I guess I'm getting TikTok famous." She joked. TikTok Famous?

March 15th (JFK Airport) (Olivia's Perspective)
2 Days until the wedding! I was super excited to take my kids to Hawaii and share this wonderful experience with them.
"Bella, it's his?" Hannah asked. The girls all giggled and I couldn't help but smile too. Our families were traveling together, so we could make things easier, and we could all catch up before the wedding. Other friends were coming in later and I wanted to make time for them too.
"Mommy, Bailey and Kylie's sister are coming to the wedding?"
"Mhm."
"Oh. I did not know that."
"Mom, look at what I did." Noah showed me his drawing and I couldn't help but smile.
"What's the inspiration behind this work of art?" He closed the sketchbook and looked at me.
"Your wedding. Bright colors to represent your happiness."
"I love it."
"Babe, they didn't have any hash browns so I got you a biscuit instead."
"That's fine. Thanks, El."
"Mom, I just realized that this is the first time that we're flying direct to Hawaii."
"I know, are you ready?"
"Yeah, but it's going to be tiring. Luckily, I'll be with Kylie and Hannah, so it should be alright."
"Bell?"
"Yes?"
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm not feeling anything." Whenever I discuss the wedding with Bella she closes up instantly and says that she's fine. Though, I know something is there.
"Bella, you can be honest with me."
"I don't want to talk about it right now Mom."
"Okay, alright. Calm down."
"I'm not upset, I just don't want anyone else to hear."
"I get it. It's alright. I love you."
"Love you too."

Honolulu, Hawaii (Bella's Perspective)
The wedding was in a day, so I was super nervous. We all just got out of rehearsal and I was walking down the beach with my friends, we were given permission to roam a bit before we went out to dinner.
"I'm surprised Mom even let me go, usually her cop instincts get to her."
"Maybe it's because we're low key being watched."
"Maybe," Kylie said with a smile.
"Let's go find somewhere to sit and talk." We found a little spot and we sat down and talked to each other.
"The wedding tomorrow Bells, are you nervous?"
"I don't know, I kind of don't wanna talk about it."
"If you have any negative feelings, it's best to just get it out and speak your mind. We're not going to judge you."
"I know you won't, I just never talk about it, you know. I hate talking to people about my super personal feelings."
"But why?" Hannah asked. I had to hold back my tears as my friends sat around me.
"Bells?" Hilary rubbed my back and everyone gave me a hug.
"Because I can't trust people sometimes, it isn't anyone's fault."
"But in order for you to have trust issues, someone must have broken your trust, Bella," Kylie said quietly.
"Is Kylie right?"
"She is. My only concern about this wedding is how it's going to affect the rest of our lives because it takes a lot of trust to get used to a stranger and stuff, and it's even harder for me considering everything. I hate to keep it a secret."
"It's okay, we all have them. Don't be sad."
"It feels weird to say I have a stepdad, my real Dad wasn't even around much, I don't know what having a Dad is. It's weird for me and it makes me uncomfortable."
"Is that why you were annoyed at the airport with your Mom on the way here?"
"Yeah, because I didn't want to talk about it then, it just makes me emotional."
"I hate it when Bella gets like this! She's too nice to be so sad, I wish I could help you, but you don't tell us what's wrong all the time."
"I'm sorry guys, I don't mean to make you worry, I just have a hard time opening up."
"But, you've gotten way better. At least you told us this time. I'm proud of you."
"Thank you." I wiped my tears and Hilary smiled.
"It's much better when you let it out, right?"
"Much better."
