Monday, December 9th (3:45 PM)
I just finished my dance class for the day with Hannah and Paisley. I had the rest of the day to chill and I was pretty happy about it. This also gave us time to plan.
"Talking to Kylie won't really be so easy. She's going to think we're attacking her." Paisley said. I sighed.
"What's wrong Bella?"
"It's sad. Kylie used to never be this way, she never used to let boys sway her way of thinking, and she said she'd never let that happen."
"I know. When she came into class high...it just wasn't right. I'm glad the teachers didn't notice." We crossed the street and walked over to Paisley's house to continue speaking.
"Good Afternoon, Mrs.Aberdeen."
"Good Afternoon! Would you guys like some snacks and a drink?"
"Yes please!" We all said.
"You guys are like triplets, always spending time together." I couldn't help but laugh a bit.
"Mom, we're gonna go to my room. If you need me call me!"
"Of course honey! You guys have fun." When we got to Paisley's room we did our homework together and talked.
"Paisley, what if we tell your Mom about her?"
"No, I think she'd hate us even more."
"But she's doing weed. Her parents should know that. If it's anyone that's going to make her stop it'd be them. Bella has a point here, Paisley."
"It wasn't part of the plan though. We'll have to see."

UES Youth Dance Studio (4:05 PM) (Olivia's Perspective)
"How was your dance lesson?" I asked my 6-year-old as she sipped on my tea.
"It was good! But I'm a bit tired and hungry. Mommy?"
"Yes, dear?"
"Are you happy that it's almost Christmas?! It's my favorite holiday! Is it yours too?"
"I'm really happy. I think it's my favorite too!" Leia giggled.
"Mommy today in school Courtney and me did a thing."
"What thing?"
"We made rings with beads! Hers is yellow! Mines is pink! Look, I'm wearing mine!"
"You guys did a good job!"
"Thanks, Olivia!"
"Olivia?! I thought my name was Mommy." I said with a laugh.
"It is! But your real name is Olivia! I like that name! You know, Lolo kitty's kind of upset with you."
"Why is that?"
"Well...it was her birthday the other day! You were supposed to come and give her a birthday cake! So..she's kind of mad at you."
"I didn't even know it was her birthday!"
"That's what they all say!" She ran to our dogs and played with them. Leia always keeps me laughing. She is the sweetest.
"Hey, Mama!"
"Bella! I didn't know you came home. How long have you been here?"
"Not too long. Figured you'd come home soon and we all left Paisley's."
"Why? What happened?"
"Nothing, we just had..stuff to do."
"I don't like that pause you did mid-sentence." She laughed nervously.
"Bella's lying Mommy! She did the pause thing."
"Leia!" Bella folded her arms.
"Okay, stop. Both of you. Leia, go shower and come here so we can finish your writing homework."
"I hate writing. This is not even cool dude!"
"Faster you finish, faster you can go and watch Polly The Purple Fairy before bed."
"On it Captain!" She flew upstairs to her room and I couldn't help but laugh to myself.
"And Bella, where are you going?"
"I have stuff to do." She told me nonchalantly.
"Sit here a while, I want to talk to you. Actually, help me with dinner."
"What is it?"
"Stuffed peppers. Get them out of the fridge please and help me cut."
"Where the heck is Noah when you need him? He's like always at basketball and he leaves me with all of this work to do."
"What work?" She raised her eyebrows.
"I literally cleaned the kitchen and the powder room. That's his chore."
"I was wondering why it looked too clean in here."
"Well, thanks for noticing." She said sarcastically.
"I'm teasing honey, I knew you cleaned. Thank you for doing his share. I'll make it up to you." She smiled.
"You don't have to Mom."
"I insist. Now, what's been going on with you and your friends lately?" She stopped cutting.
"Nothing Mom."
"Bella, are you guys fighting?"
"No, it's not like that. There's no drama between us. Things are just weird." She sighed before fixing her bra strap.
"What is? Bella, you can tell me anything under the sun. I am your best friend. If something's going on that's making you uncomfortable, you need to speak up, you and your friends. You know, I've been concerned since you asked me that question about boyfriends." She stayed silent.
"I can't say anything, Mom."
"Can I at least ask you a question?"
"Yes."
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
"No." She looked me in the eye and swore she didn't have one.
"I believe you. How bad is this thing with your friends? You usually tell me everything?"
"It's not super bad, but I just don't wanna tell an adult and make someone mad. I just wanna help them."
"Okay, I trust you. But if you need an adult, I'm here babe."
"Got it!" She smiled.
"Mom, I'm so glad I don't have braces anymore!"
"I could tell. You had to refrain from consuming your favorites!"
"Mommy! I finished my shower and I'm all dressed! Let's watch a movie!" Leia screamed happily.

Wednesday, December 11th (Trinity School) (Lunch) (12:02 PM) (Paisley's Perspective)
"Kylie's late again," Bella said in a disappointed tone.
"What can we expect?!" Jake said.
"Carson's got her under some deep spell. It's literally up to us to break it." Ethan said.
"Well, there she is. She's done getting high on edibles and finally ready to be with her friends. Let's see how it goes." Hannah remarked.
"Hey, guys! Guess what?!"
"What?" I asked calmly.
"I have this friend named Bella! Did you guys know that?"
"We know. I'm right here Kylz." She replied. She began to ramble.
"This girl named Hannah, I wish I saw her more! I don't see her at all! I think she doesn't like me anymore! I don't know! And Bella, I think that she's hiding something from us!"
"Like what?!" Hannah asked. Everyone at the table was understandably pissed off.
"Guys, I don't think she's high. She's been drinking. Her breath reeks of alcohol. I feel uncomfortable. I need to go." Bella said quickly and she dashed out of the lunchroom.
"Okay, I'm really getting tired of this! This isn't only affecting Kylie, it's affecting Bella too! She shouldn't be feeling sad on her birthday week! Kylie, you need to break up with Carson! That's all I have to say. I don't care if she's drunk or not." We rushed off to find Bella and the boys had to deal with her. Maybe we let it go too far?!

Mom's Car (4:45 PM) (Bella's Perspective)
"How was therapy, my dear?" I didn't reply. I was busy listening to music. It was the only thing keeping me sane. I just couldn't believe that Kylie would drink in school. Especially knowing that it triggers me. She could've gotten into so much trouble if a teacher found out about it! She'd be kicked off of the cheerleading team and everything! I just don't get it! Why is she acting so weird?!
"Bella? I'm speaking to you." I shrugged.
"I don't know what that means. You're nearly 13, use your words." Mom was starting to get on my nerves. I'm sure it was clear that I didn't want to be bothered. Ugh. I just pulled out my homework and started it. Mom was gonna get Leia and Noah so we could go to our house in Garden City. We were going over there to grab something and then come back home to go to sleep for school in the morning.
"Bella, why are you so angry honey? Lucy said you were happy when you left."
"Mom, I don't want to talk."
"You don't have a choice anymore. Every time I see you you're suddenly sad and quiet or sensitive and angry. And I know when something's going on."
"I'm just moody," I whispered.
"What did you say?" She asked me as we went to pick up Leia from Kylies' house. Kylie answered the door.
"Good Evening Ms.Benson. Cassie and Leia are in the kitchen." Mom went inside. Kylie and I stared at each other for a moment as we were alone in front of the door.
"Bella-"
"I don't want to hear it." I went back to the car and tried to open the door. Frick! It's locked. I look like a fool. What a way to ruin my exit.
"Bella, just let me explain."
"No. No. I trusted you with my secrets just for you to dismiss it. I wish I didn't open up to you." I began to cry. Tears falling down my cheek. Kylie cried too, she went upstairs. The car unlocked and I went inside to cry. I was just so disappointed. How could she do that to herself? Ruin herself like that.
"Bella, today in school-" Leia sat quietly.
"Mommy, Bella is crying."
"Bella? What's wrong hon?"Pt.2 coming soon~
A/N: It's crazy how I started Bella's story in my freshman year of high school and I'm now a junior! With that being said I'm able to write some more chapters now that my schedule is changed. Stay safe everyone!
