The year was officially done. Where ha sthe year gone anyway? Feels like just yesterday me and Josh decided to give us a try. Now that has been two months. I can't believe it.
Maya is sitting in her room looking at the locket Josh gave her for Christmas. She smiles as she closes it again. She falls back on her bed and looks at the ceiling. She definitely can't believe she is where she is. That was definitely a long way from where she was a few weeks ago. Then she would never have guessed Shawn would marry her mom neither that she is in a relationship with Joshua Matthews. She looked once again at the photo next to her bed and smiles. The same picture taken two years ago on Christmas. Maya closes her eyes and let's het mind slow down.
It was late the afternoon and Maya opened her eyes. She fell asleep after she closed her eyes. She looks at the time seeing she only has half an hour left of the hours she had before ghe party. She gets a bit of a fright and heads to her closet. She goes through it and then she finds a red dress which catches her eye. She takes that along with a pair of brown ankle boots. After she put that on she just brushed through her hair with her brush before taking her handbag and going to the kitchen.

"You know you guys could have woken me up?" Maya asked. "You looked so peaceful. Josh is picking you up. I asked him," Shawn said and Maya heard a knock. "Probably him," Shawn said and answered.
"Just the guy we were talking about. Come in," Shawn said. "Thanks Shawn. Hello Mrs Hunter. Hey Maya. You ready?" Josh asked. "Um yeah. Let's go."
