Chapter 86 - First Challenge

It was New Years Eve and Maya was busy cleaning up the apartment as she knew she won't be able to do it once Ruby is awake.
Josh had to go out with some of his friends for awhile just to make it seem like there is nothing weird going on but both of them were having it rough since Ruby is still so much of a newborn.
And goodness knows where everything will go with them.

"Heh,"Josh said as he opened the door.
"Thought you would be out till at least midnight," Maya said.
"They can say what they want. I want to spend the new year with my girlfriend and my daughter," Josh said as he leaned over the bassinet where Ruby was fast asleep.
"Everyday she looks more and more like you," Josh said.
"Josh, you know you can go with your friends. I don't mind," Maya said.
"I know. But I want to be here," Josh said giving Maya a kiss.
