As Yoongi was leaving practice out through the gymnasium, he suddenly felt someone very aggressively bump into his shoulder.

Turning around, he was met with an icy cold glare and evil smirk that belonged to none other than Lee Chul.

"Hey, little tip, maybe you should actually arrive on time if you wanna be a decent captain," Chul said harshly on his way out while keeping eye contact.

It took all of his will power to not burst into tears on the floor right at that moment.

Hurriedly gathering up his things and saying a quick bye to Jungkook, who tried to get his attention by grabbing his shirt sleeve. But alas, Yoongi's movements were too quick.

Yoongi rushed outside into the rain and got in his car as fast as he could.

Sounds of rain pouring down onto the car window echoed through the vehicle, as Yoongi rested his head down on the wheel.

After a couple more minutes of just sitting there while listening to the relaxing sounds of the rain drops, Yoongi finally inserted his keys with a sigh and drove off. Calm yet melancholy music played on the radio, to which he hummed along to occasionally if he was familiar with the song.

As soon as Yoongi unlocked his door and slid off his soaked tennis shoes, he ran upstairs to his bedroom and slammed the door shut.

Out of frusteration, he pushed everything off his desk to flush all of his anger out.

Papers, books, photos, writing utensils, and notebooks all landed with a loud thump on his carpet floor as Yoongi glared at the mess like it had done something horrible.

Words couldn't describe how angry Yoongi was at the moment, how infuriated he felt. It wasn't just because he was late to practice, but everything eventually piled up on his back so that he couldn't take it anymore.

Chul's discouraging words, his coach's scowling, people looking down upon him like he was some useless nobody.

What finally drew the line was Chul's words-- "Hey, little tip, maybe you should actually arrive on time if you wanna be a decent captain."

Usually, things like this didn't bother Yoongi in the slightest.

Not even a little bit.

He already doubted himself being good enough to fulfill the role of being captain, and all the responsibility came crashing down upon him.

The coach's sharp tone of voice and pure annoyance only made Yoongi hate himself even more.

Yoongi's motivation for all of practice suddenly vanished from his body, and he even felt himself become weaker. He knew it was his responsibility as a team captain, and Yoongi had never been late or missed a practice.

Ever.

The only reason he missed today's practice was because of..

Hoseok.

He had been with Hoseok in the library beforehand, and had carelessly lost track of time.

How stupid was he to just let himself do that? Especially since the person he was with wasn't even a close friend and he didn't care about him in the slightest.

"Hoseok," Yoongi grumbled out like his name was some kind of poison.

"Ever since that boy came, he just had to meddle in with everything, didn't he?"

I can't even feel myself to talk at lunch anymore without Hoseok butting in, making me feel like I've been replaced by someone my friends had only met weeks ago.
