And just like that, it was Valentine's Day.

During the past month and a half, nothing's really changed within the group's dynamic regarding the new couple.

Their romantic relationship didn't have any effect on the others, in fact, the other six were all quite happy with how it turned out since they had all been secretly rooting them ever since the beginning of the year, which already seemed like ages ago.

And it really was, with August being a whole whopping seven months ago, the month where Hoseok moved into New York for his dad's job and met a bubbly Taehyung who lived across the street from him. Everything unwinded after that.

September came and went, with him becoming closer to the group and Yoongi was only starting to warm up to him towards the end of it, finally seeing that he wasn't as annoying and obnoxious as he first made him out to be.

In late October, Yoongi recognized his feelings for Hoseok and suddenly found himself becoming more naturally drawn to his presence, whether it be at school or hanging out. The same month that they also met a sweet and kindhearted Chaeyoung, who ended up being one of their closest friends and newest addition to their group due to Hoseok's being.

Then November came, with dance practices becoming more excruciating and frequent than ever, leaving Hoseok, Jimin, and Chaeyoung barely enough time to hang out.

Lastly, December.

That was a huge game changer.

Within the first few days of that month, Hoseok acknowledged his hidden feelings for Yoongi and suddenly found himself more flustered than ever when around him, since dealing with a crush was something so foreign and unusual to him unlike Yoongi who learned how to contain his feelings ever since October. But then, the night of the dance competition, all their worries washed away when Yoongi finally found the confidence to confess to Hoseok, who returned those exact same feelings.

And the rest was history.

Which explains as to why the two were currently in Yoongi's kitchen making home baked chocolate chip cookies, since they reckoned heart shaped sugar cookies were too widespread in the industry and they wanted to be different.

At least that's what Yoongi said, and Hoseok had no choice to comply with a playful eye roll since he found Yoongi's passion about the silly topic quite amusing to endure.

But adorable nonetheless.

"Can we play some music? The sound of flour in my ears is messing with my brain," Hoseok spoke up randomly, instantly causing Yoongi's head to snap in his direction with concern.

"The sound of the what is messing with your what?" He blinked, really hoping that Hoseok was just joking around with him.

Because if not, then this would be a very sticky situation.

Literally.

"I think some flour got into my ear and it's like really fucking crunchy," Hoseok winced, hitting the side of his head to knock some flour out as one would normally do when water got stuck in their ears at the beach.

But Hoseok's story was a bit different.

"Oh my god — hear stop doing that you're gonna get a concussion," Yoongi sighed, reluctantly walking over to a struggling Hoseok to try and help him retrieve some of the flour out.
