64. I missed you

Thankfully after Jin's little conversation with you a couple of days ago nothing had come up in conversation with any of them since.

And you can only hope it doesn't again!

"Hey..."

You instantly recognise the voice.

Jungkook!

God you'd missed him visiting your office and just sitting with you or waiting for you to finish your paperwork.

You look up slowly from the papers on your desk and to your office door; "hi" you say quietly and with a hint of shyness, a small smile playing on your lips, because you know he hasn't done this for a while. He hasn't done it since that drunken night that changed things between you.

He looks beautiful; his dark hair had gotten a little longer so now it falls into his eyes more depending how he holds his head, and his clothing choice for today was all black, like most days but today his tshirt was a little smaller and tighter than the usual oversized stuff he wears giving you a glimpse of his body shaping underneath.

"Can I come in?" He asks, voice unsure when it never used to be!

It hurts your heart! How did you ever get to here with him?

"Of course you can, you know you can any time, like you used to"

The air between you both in your office is thick and you feel a little like you're being choked, and with the look on Jungkook's face he's feeling it too!

You watch as he closed the door and wandered over to the chair near the window; his hand hovers over the chair.

"Can I, shall I move the chair over there" he points over to you at your desk.

You blink a little confused, what's with his questioning?

"Hey!" You say with a small voice until he stops midway pulling the chair across your office.

"Yeah?"

"What's wrong?"

His face looks timid, his eyes blink a few times then he continues pulling the chair until he's in front of your desk and then he sits down looking shyly at you; "nothing... erh, why?"

"Why are you asking me questions? You don't need to ask me if you can come in my office and you definitely don't need to ask me if you can shift that chair Kook... so, what's going on?"

He shrugs his shoulders slightly and then looks from his hands to your eyes, he still looks unsure and you don't know how to feel about this new thing between you.

"Okay, so... you came in my office because..."

You sit there waiting for him to fill the void, speak to break the silence that's deafening you.

"I, actually I don't know so I'll..." he stands from the chair and you can't believe this is happening.

"Kook?" You jump up from your seat and stop in front of him before he gets anywhere from the desk, "... hey stop, where are you going?"

"Well, maybe you don't want me in here?"

What made him think that?

"I missed you Kook" the use of his nickname making everything feel more intense! More intimate!

Finally he looks at you, catching your eye contact and you just stare at each other.

Again, it's like the office is going to combust!

You're sure if you just moved a little bit closer to him, you could lean in and kiss him; catch his lips with yours and just get a little taste.

"You did?" He questions.
