Y/n sat on his bed, contemplating his words. He felt that he had said too much and revealed too much of himself. He felt uncomfortable of the thought of having to explain his words to Yeji again. Neither did he want to explain the situation to anyone. Y/n immediately dug through his bag and grabbed his notebook. Jotting down his thoughts and feelings into the lyrics. The orange hue covered the living room, the source was the  streetlight outside the window. It was a silent and foggy night, there were barely any cars left on the street.  Only a few taxi's had passed the streets. Everyone was in their house, either asleep or wide awake. Y/n was filled with emotions he didn't know he had, yet again he found solace in writing and composing songs. Y/n then soon switched positions, his back aching at the awkward position he had leaned on the couch with. Y/n took a quick glance outside and sighed. The empty streets that were covered in sheets of fog made Seoul look surreal. Y/n always loved this part of Seoul, the silent, cold and empty streets after having a day filled with vibrant colors and bustling streets. It was the downtime of the day, and it was the time Y/n always appreciated and cherished. His head rested on the sofa as he admired the outside, the fog slowly moving as the streetlights illuminated the road and the stores all around.

Y/n's pen hit his paper and he was reminded of his work. Reading every line he had written in the past 30 minutes he was amazed at himself. The way the lyrics flowed and rhymed, he knew he was steadily improving on his work. He was truly proud of himself, then the realization set in. He wrote a song about Yeji. About how he truly feels and the way Yeji had disappointed Y/n. Y/n had no right, he knew this. Y/n decided on one thing. Y/n grabbed the pages and ripped it out of his notebook. He balled it up in his fist and threw it into a trashcan. Y/n sighed, he knew that if Yeji ever found out she would be enraged. Y/n decided to take his mind off of the recent events and clean up the living room.

Meanwhile, Yeji sat at her bed. She didn't know why she was so bothered by Y/n agreeing to them being just friends. She was thinking about her actions. Guilt swallowed her. She led Y/n on and then friend zoned him after a few months of knowing him. She was questioning herself, her action, her feelings, and her decisions. Why did she do those things? For attention? For a temporary boyfriend? She couldn't tell Y/n any of those. She wanted to blame her actions on anything, but she knows it was her own fault. Lost in her own train of thought, Yeji laid on her bed, staring deeply into the ceiling.

Her moment being interrupted by a knock on the door, "Yeji, We need to prepare for an interview with IU sunbaenim." The interview is in 2 hours. We need to go at 11:30." Lia reminded Yeji as she leaned on Yeji's door. Yeji answered with a hum as she stood up from her bed with a groan, "I'll be ready in 30." Yeji said as she walks towards her closet. Yeji shuffled through her clothes. She knew their stylist would dress them on the set, so she wore casual and baggy. Wearing Pink sweatpants, a Black crop top and a loose Pink jacket with white vans on. Casual but comfortable. She spun whilst looking in a mirror as she observed herself. She wanted to add more style to her outfit, so she went to her jewelry drawer. Picking out three different necklaces and 5 rings, Yeji was finished with her outfit. She sprayed some perfume on herself and  lightly did her makeup. Picking up her purse she went on with her day.

Y/n, on the other hand, was in the studio. He was making an instrumental for the song Kyung-jae wrote. He was mixing the beats and adjusting  the pitch. He was very focused on the screen, adjusting different slides as the song segments replayed in his headphones. He has sat on the same chair for hours. Y/n wanted to perfect each song he has made. Y/n was confused since he couldn't find what was wrong with his track. Y/n pulled out his phone and went through his contacts. His hands quickly swiping on his cellphone. Once he found Bang Chan's contact he pressed to call his brother.

After 3 rings Chan had answered "Hyung!" Y/n whined into the phone as he looked through the tracks.

"Hey everyone my little brother's calling me." Bang Chan said as he sat back on his seat, "Oh, is someone there?" Y/n said a bit embarrassed because of his introduction.

"Yes, Stays are here. I'm doing a VLive." Bang Chan said with a giggle "Ah... Hi Stays. Sorry did I interrupt your Live?" Y/n said  as he was more focused on browsing the tracks, Not really. How can I help you?" Chan said as he was reading Stays' comments "I need help on this song." Y/n said which made Chan reach for his phone and stop putting Y/n on speakerphone. "Oh, I'll be at the studio after this, I'll meet you there later alright?" Chan said as he readied to hang up "Oh okay I'll wait till you get here then." Y/n said as Chan quickly hung up.

Comments about Chan's little brother making songs flashed quickly across the screen. Chan played it off as a friend who was like a little brother to him. Chan continued on with his VLive and played songs throughout. After 20 more minutes Chan decided it was time and gave Stays a farewell hug and turned off his live. Chan packed up his laptop and his belongings when another call appeared on his screen. "Hyung-" Chan cut off Y/n "I know sorry, I'll be there in a few." Chan said exiting the room and walking down the hall "I watched your live, Stays are really hyper, huh?" Y/n said laughing a bit from the Comments he re-read. Y/n sat on the couch his feet on the armrests as he caught a headache earlier. He had been in a sitting position long enough that when he stood up it took him a bit to recover. "Y/n you really need a sound technician. Just ask your manager to hook you up with one." Chan said as he walked into the elevator, "I know Hyung, but you're easier to work with. I don't want to work with a stranger." Y/n said which made Chan sigh "But, I will be getting a sound tech soon. I met them a couple of months ago, and we got it off. She's really got a good ear when it comes to songs." Y/n said which made Chan gasp a bit.

"When did you get so friendly?" Chan said surprisingly "This isn't my brother I'm talking to is it now?" Chan said being extra, "Haha... Funny Hyung. But seriously she's good. The only thing is she doesn't have much experience, but hopefully we both can be a good team." Y/n said as he sat up properly "Wow, song making amateurs working together. That sounds like a disaster, but I know you so hopefully you two can pull this off." Chan said as he walked over to the studio. Chan knocked on the door and entered. Y/n was set properly as the same track was on repeat on the computer, "I found the track that was bothering me. But I don't know where that sound is coming from. Sounds like a 1000-year-old electric fan on its deathbed." Y/n said as Chan laughed and sat down on the chair in front of Y/n's laptop. Chan looked at each instrument used and changed pitches "Well let's put the electric fan out of its misery then." Chan said as he removed the unnecessary electric guitar track. "There." Chan said as he unplugged the headphones and the same track sounded crisper than before.

"Hey Hyung can I talk to you about something?" Y/n said leaning on his knees as he stared at his older brother.
