Chapter 84 - Eventful day

Time flew by for Y/n and Chan. The two were now in Australia. Chan, along with all of Stray Kids, had just won the survival show Kingdom, Y/n was nearing his debut, and The family reunion was this night. Y/n laid beside Chan as he was talking with Chan. Y/n told Chan about Lia and how he truly feels. Y/n went on a long rant about Lia's eyes, Lia's personality, even Lia's small habits he had picked up from her. Chan grinned ear to ear as Y/n was quite poetic in his words. The words coming out of Y/n's mouth were filled with emotion. The way he described Lia and how it felt to be around her made Chan laugh, interrupting Y/n. Y/n was a bit surprised to see his brother burst out laughing. Y/n to his side, seeing Chan laugh holding his stomach while at it made Y/n grin a bit.

"What? Did I say something wrong?" Y/n said, confused as he sat up. This only made Chan laugh harder, which made Chan accidentally rolled off the bed. Chan fell head first as he laughed uncontrollably. 

"Oh god, I'm sorry Y/n," Chan said wiping a tear as he tried his best to regain his breath and shake off a small concussion, "It's just. You say you're not in love with this girl, but you sound like a grandpa describing his dear late wife." Chan said, climbing back into the bed, Y/n a little flustered at Chan's words.

"I swear, I'm not in love." Y/n said, his face burning red as Chan smugly stared at him.

"Yeah sure." Chan said, leaning back on the headboard of the bed. A smug smirk across his face, and an eyebrow raised.

"Chan, I don't know anymore. I feel the same way I feel with Lia, and Ryunjin, and everyone in ITZY. I'm such an ass." Y/n said, burying his head into a nearby pillow he grabbed, trying to hide his flustered face.

"Well, I can't say you're not. But you can change. Pick one Y/nn." Chan said with a small grin. Y/n dropped the pillow and turned to Chan with a mix of a disgusted and a confused face.

"Chan, if I could, I would've already done it. It's like you saying 'oh you're homeless? Just buy a house!' See how stupid it sounds?" Y/n said with a groan of frustration. Chan chuckled at Y/n's remark.

"I know it isn't easy Y/n, but one day you have to make the choice. Unless you just want to hurt them even more." Chan said in a serious tone. He had his hands crossed atop his chest.

"I know. Ugh, can't I just go away? Like just move away. Or even better, just avoid them at all cost?" Y/n said, his eyebrows furrowed as he clutched the pillow closer to his body.

"Haha, no. I'm not going to allow it." Chan said with a grin spread across his face. Y/n groaned and fell back onto the bed, but instead he fell back and hit his head. A giggle can be heard from both Chan and Y/n.

Y/n and Chan grabbed their skateboards from their garage. Y/n and Chan grinning at each other as they tapped their boards together as if it was a toast for a good evening ahead. The two decided to ditch the family reunion together as they just wanted to have quality time together, since they know they won't be getting any time together as brothers in the future. The two snuck out of the house and started to skate down the block. Australia had a beautiful aura, especially in the night. Everything was mesmerizing to the two as they haven't been able to skate together for years. Y/n and Chan started racing down the streets. The sound of air flying past them as they sped up, the two were quite competitive when it came to each other, so it wasn't rare to see the two silently challenging each other. Y/n laughed as Chan tried to show off, doing a small pop shove-it, Y/n retaliated with a Nollie shove-it as he tried to fix his hair. Chan scoffed and sped up, overtaking Y/n in the process. 

Y/n's laugh can be heard as he skated with his brother. "You're giving up that easily?" Y/n said provokingly as he took to the curb, overtaking Chan.
