Chapter 98 - Cuddles

Y/n sat on Chaeryeong's bed, his pencil in his mouth as he stared off into the abyss. Y/n was pulled back to reality when Chaeryeong threw an eraser into his open mouth. Y/n quickly spat out the eraser as Chaeryeong started laughing at his reaction.

"C'mon focus asshole." Chaeryeong said as she tapped the paper in her lap with a pencil. Y/n stared at Chaeryeong unamused as Chaeryeong just laughed at Y/n's reaction.

"I'm trying to focus, but your voice is just too soothing." Y/n said as he rested his head on Chaeryeong's soft sheets. Y/n smiled as Chaeryeong rolled her eyes at his statement.

"Read me a bedtime story Mama." Y/n said ironically as he placed his hands under his head as Chaeryeong laughed.

"Shut up, idiot." Chaeryeong lightly slapped Y/n's lap, "C'mon be serious about this Y/n." Chaeryeong said, biting her bottom lip with a soft smile. Y/n couldn't help but smile, a crimson spread across his cheeks. Y/n sat up and crawled closer to Chaeryeong.

"Fine, but only because you're cute." Y/n said, murmuring the last part. Chaeryeong's cheeks heated up at Y/n's compliment. Y/n leaned his head on Chaeryeong's shoulder as Chaeryeong started to explain the words on the big book that sat on her lap.

Y/n then crawled behind Chaeryeong, letting her settle between his legs as he laid his head on her shoulder. Y/n wrapped his arms around Chaeryeong's waist, "Is this alright?" Y/n softly whispered in her ear as she felt a shiver crawl up her spine.

"Yea..." Chaeryeong giggled a bit at the ticklish feeling of Y/n's breath on her ear. Y/n smiled as Chaeryeong continued explaining the different highlighted sentences. Y/n stared at Chaeryeong as she kept rambling about the subject. He smiled as Chaeryeong yawned a bit as she flipped the page.

Y/n was admiring her beauty for a good 5 minutes, his eyes trailed every beautiful detail on her face. Y/n caressed her thigh as she kept rambling.

"You're not paying attention at all." Chaeryeong said as she turned to Y/n who had a small grin on his lips as he stared back at her. Y/n giggled as he leaned closer, the proximity made a blush spread across Chaeryeong's face.

"I was. You were rambling about how there are four basic properties of numbers: commutative, associative, distributive, and identity." Y/n smirked at the surprise in Chaeryeong's face. Her face was filled with disbelief as Y/n giggled.

"I already know all of this, just wanted an excuse to spend time with you." Y/n said as Chaeryeong's mouth fell open. Chaeryeong slapped his chest as she pouted.

"You don't need an excuse to spend time with me." Chaeryeong said as she leaned her head on his shoulder. Y/n used his right hand to hold intertwine their hands. A sigh escaped Y/n's lips.

"I know, I just missed your voice. Plus I have a test tomorrow, thanks for refreshing my memory baby." Y/n said as he used his other hand to fix all the papers around the bed. 

Chaeryeong sighed as Y/n's warmth calmed her down. Y/n finished fixing his papers as he pulled away a bit to grab his backpack and stuff everything in his bag. Y/n placed the bag on the floor, as Chaeryeong laid down on the bed watching him. He turned around to see Chaeryeong with her arms spread out wide.

Y/n settled himself in-between her arms as he wrapped his arms around her waist. The feeling of both their warmth intertwining made the atmosphere a lot calmer.

"I'm going to turn off the light quick." Y/n said as he pulled away from Chaeryeong in a rush, slapping the light switch before he rushed back to the bed. A giggle escaped Chaeryeong's lips as she felt Y/n crawl back into her arms. 

Y/n sighed as he laid his head on her arm, holding her closer to his body. Y/n's eyes closed as Chaeryeong started to scratch his scalp softly. Chaeryeong was falling asleep quickly as Y/n held her closer.
