Chapter 68 - Nice to meet you two

Y/n sat on the chair, sipping on the matcha milk tea he had ordered as he listened to Chaeryeong talk. Chaeryeong was talking about how being an Idol would mean that you were sacrificing your person life, each mistake would be broadcasted for the world to see. Y/n nodded "That must have been hard for you at first huh?" Y/n asked while sipping out of the cup in hand "I signed up for it, I trained for it, and I live for it Y/n. I don't know what else to tell you when I say I love what I do." Chaeryeong said as she took a bite out of her cake. It was a cold evening, the moon was in the sky, it's light shining down on the face of Seoul. There was very few cars that drove on the road, this was the effect of the world wide pandemic. But that didn't stop the two from sneaking out and going to a secret cafe. The cafe was infamous for it's security and privacy, a lot of idols collected in the shop, ever so often a random person would wander in. Y/n looked around the room, they were at the back of the cafe, very secluded with heavily tinted glass on his right side. He could barely see the outside, as it was dark and the only illumination that helped his eyes were the streetlights. Y/n saw a lot of idols and some actors. In one table, Irene from Red Velvet and Jennie from Blackpink sat and talked, the next table over sat the girls of IZ*ONE Chaeyeon and Eunbi sipping on their frappe's it seemed like, on another table sat the 7 members of BTS all conversing having some cake and other sweets. Y/n was amazed at the amount of talent the room held but his eyes lingered on the boys of BTS a bit longer. He was a big fan of BTS ever since they had came back with 'Save Me'. Y/n's eyes widened, he had always admired BTS, more importantly Jin and Suga.

Y/n looked at Chaeryeong with wide eyes as she raised an eyebrow at his reaction, she couldn't see half of his face since he had lifted his face mask but his eyes and eyebrows conveyed a lot of emotions by themselves. "What?" Chaeryeong said as she chuckled at Y/n's facial expression "You got a crush on Jennie and Irene noona now too?" Chaeryeong asked sarcastically as she took another bite out of her cake. Y/n profusely shook his head and nodded his head to BTS "Look! BTS is here! Oh god I'm sweating too much, jeez they look so cool!" Y/n said as he whispered to Chaeryeong who only chuckled at his reaction "Yeah, they're awesome. You should go talk to them." Chaeryeong said with a smile seeing Y/n a little flustered "What? Are you crazy? I admire them too much, I'd sound like a crazy fan boy!" Y/n whispered to Chaeryeong who started to laugh uncontrollably. Chaeryeong clutched her stomach as she tried holding laugh. This caught the attention of everyone in the room which caused Y/n to just try to ignore her and pulled down his mask to take a sip from his drink. Chaeryeong had her mask down and her sister immediately recognized her laugh so she stood up along with Eunbi to say hello. Chaeryeong's laugh died down a bit and Y/n spoke "Why are you laughing at me?" Y/n said furrowing his eyebrows and pouting a bit "Ah, you're acting cute now? Wow is this their effect on you Y/n?" Chaeryeong said chuckling a bit, although an obvious blush arose to her cheeks seeing Y/n pout "No, but this is your effect on me." Y/n said greasily while leaning forward a bit. Chaeryeong's blush grew brighter as she looked down and ate her piece of cake "Stop that." She said looking away from Y/n who started laughing at her. "Chaeryeong?" Chaeyeon said as she turned to Chaeryeong who was looking out the window, "Chaeyeon? What are you doing here?" Chaeryeong said pulling Chaeyon into a hug "I was just out with Eunbi unnie, we were both hungry so. What are you doing here with a random boy?" Chaeyeon whispered to Chaeryeong who pulled away "Oh he's a friend of mine. He's a trainee I'm close with." Chaeryeong said pointing to Y/n. Y/n stood up and bowed properly to Chaeyeon and Eunbi "Hello noona, I'm Y/n it's a pleasure to meet you." Y/n said holding out a hand to shake "Likewise Y/n." Chaeyeon said shaking his hand then turning to Chaeryeong "You dating him?" Chaeyeon said into Chaeryeong's ear which caused her to gasp and hit Chaeyeon's shoulder "What? N-no" Chaeryeong's voice cracked which made Chaeyeon look at her with an eyebrow raised "C'mon, I'm you're sister for Pete's sake." Chaeyeon said looking at Chaeyeon with an eyebrow raised and a small smirk. While the two conversed, Eunbi and Y/n started a conversation on their own.

"It's nice to meet you Noona." Y/n said smiling widely, he was a bit star struck since he loved the produce series, "The pleasure is all mine Y/n. If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a question." Eunbi said smiling back at Y/n who perked up a bit "Go ahead." Y/n said taking a sip out of his drink "What are you doing here? Are you going to debut soon?" Eunbi said with a kind smile as she was turned to Y/n "Uhh, not really. I just wanted to eat after practice and Chaeryeong noona told me this place had good food so we took a cab here." Y/n said as he put down his drink on the table, seeing the two siblings were still squabbling with each other Y/n decided to just speak to his other Sunbaenim. "So sunbaenim, how have you been?" Y/n asked turning to Eunbi who lifted her eyebrows "Oh, well nothing too much had been happening. We've been doing some stuff in Japan so that's one thing." She said leaning back onto her chair beside Y/n "That's great, I really like your music you know?" Y/n said with a smile which made Eunbi raise an eyebrow and lean closer to him "Really? What's your favorite song from IZ*ONE." Eunbi said with a small smirk, Y/n leaned back onto his chair and placed a finger on his chin "Well, I'd say Memory? Or maybe Dreamlike? I can't pick between the two really." Y/n said as he furrowed his eyebrows "Oh you actually listen to our albums, that's great to hear." Eunbi said chuckling a bit as she placed her head on her hand "Yeah, I love your voice Noona, you're my favorite vocalist in the group." Y/n said smiling widely as he picked up his now warm beverage "No need to try and flatter me Y/n." Eunbi said swatting a hand Y/n's way "I'm not trying to. I'm just saying I'm a big fan of yours Noona." Y/n said before sipping on his beverage. Y/n and  Eunbi grew a bit fond of each other after conversing for 20 minutes before the two sisters stopped arguing and bickering. Eunbi and Y/n were laughing as they conversed, Eunbi hitting Y/n on the shoulder as Y/n laughed into his hand. Chaeryeong stared at the two for a second before she slightly furrowed her eyebrows, "Y/n I see you and Eunbi noona became friends now." Chaeyeon said smiling at the two "Yeah, She's great really." Y/n said wiping a year off his eye as he took another sip of his beverage "Y/n is actually a big fan of ours Chaeyeon. He's pretty funny too." Eunbi said chuckling as Y/n smiled shyly at Chaeyeon "Oh really? Am I your bias?" Chaeyeon said pointing to herself leaning on the table a bit, Y/n shook his head "Not really noona, Sorry." Y/n said bowing a bit at her as Eunbi started laughing at her face, she had a bit of distraught written on her face. "Hey Y/n it's getting pretty late, I have to get to my dorm and you need to be training tommorow." Chaeryeong said as she checked her cellphone screen "Aww, well it was nice meeting with both of you. You both are pleasant people really." Y/n said as he packed up his thing into his backpack. Eunbi put her hand on Y/n's shoulder and smiled at him "Hey, can I get your number? I had a nice talk with you and I'd hope to do it again soon you know?" Eunbi said with her cellphone unlocked in her hand as Y/n's ears perked up a bit "Oh, yeah that'd be nice." Y/n said taking her cellphone and typing up his contact information. Chaeryeong grabbed her handbag and hugged her sister before she stood up and started walking away, Y/n grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder then pushed his chair into the table fixing it's position "It's been a lovely evening you two, have a great day." Y/n said before waving and catching up to Chaeryeong who had her mask up.
