Chapter 21 - Hangover

The room was so silent you could hear a pin drop from a mile away. The tension in the air made Y/n uncomfortable as a dining Lia, Ryujin, and Yuna stood at the doorway as they panted heavily, after the girls shouted the other four members of Vortex groaned groggily. Y/n patted their heads and they soon settled down and Y/n grabbed the glass on the table and took a sip. 

Y/n met eyes with Lia and swallowed the alcohol, "Yeji noona gave me a tour of the building." Y/n said blandly as he took another sip.

"You should've told us before going skipping around the building, you worried us!" Lia raised her voice at Y/n who just smiled at her.

"My bad, I'm sorry if I worried you. Yeji noona is asleep in her room now." Y/n said smiling at Lia before drinking the rest of the alcohol in the glass in one chug.

"Why did you guys try and look for us? We weren't even that drunk." Y/n asked as he poured some beer into his glass and mixed in some Soju.

"Even so, you had drunk beer. Who knows what could've happened to you and Yeji?" Lia said crossing her arms over her chest.

"Nothing inappropriate happened Noona, chill." Y/n said smirking at her while making eye contact before drinking some beer.

"I-i wasn't thinking about that!" Lia said stomping her feet like a kid.

"I never said you were, just was informing you" Y/n said taking another sip giggling at her reaction. Y/n raised his glass and offered some to Chaeryeong who took the glass in her hands and took a gulp.

"Maybe you guys should sleep too, I'll carry these idiots home." Y/n said flicking Tae-woo's forehead.

"Sure, lock the door when you're done. Goodnight Y/n/n." Ryujin said hugging you from behind the couch before walking away.

"Goodnight Ryujin." Y/n shouted her way before taking a sip of the glass in Chaeryeong's hands.

"Goodnight Y/n, Text me tomorrow." Lia said kissing his cheek before jogging away "Uh, okay goodnight..." Y/n said blushing from the sudden contact of Lia's lips to his cheek. Yuna sat beside Chaeryeong and took a glass half full of Liquor and took a gulp.

"Chaeryeong, let's go, we have to sleep now." Yuna said slinging her arm across Chaeryeong's shoulders.

"Okay, goodnight Y/n" Chaeryeong said waving a hand goodbye before standing up and walking to her room.

"Bye bye Y/n. Sleep tight." Yuna said before standing up and handing Y/n the glass of liquor.

"Bye noona, don't throw up too much tomorrow." Y/n said and made Yuna smile before walking away groggily. Y/n took one last gulp of the liquor before picking up all the plates and putting them in the sink.

Y/n squeezed the sponge between his hands, the bubbles forming. Y/n cleaned the plates that were stained from the food. Y/n washed the dishes and put them on a drying rack before drying his hands. Y/n opened the door to their dorms and opened each dorm rooms' door so that he wouldn't have to open it. 

Y/n then got the others shoes and settled it in the shoe racks in their dorms. Y/n walked back to the ITZY dorms and picked up Kyung-jae and Tae-woo then slowly walked over to the couch and dropped Kyung-jae and Tae-woo on to the cushions.

 Y/n repeated it for Min-kyu and Jun-seo, dropping them into the cushions. Y/n closed the ITZY dorms, locking it beforehand. Y/n picked Kyung-jae up and laid him on his bed, putting a blanket over him. Next was Jun-seo who was light as a feather, Y/n slowly laid him down making sure that Jun-seo was comfortable.

Y/n then picked up Tae-woo and rolled him above Jun-seo's bed and adjusted the blanket over his body, Y/n closed the door softly behind him and sighed seeing Min-kyu hugging a couch cushion, Y/n had to pull the pillow away and carry Min-kyu into his room while he talked in his sleep.

"Yes Esmeralda, toilet seats for you..." Min-kyu said as he hugged the blankets groaning slightly, Y/n giggled at the sight. Y/n closed the door behind him and went to the main bathroom. Y/n sighed in relief as he was still able to walk straight. He found the pills behind the glass and looked for some sort of medicine they could all take in the morning. 

He grabbed a bottle of Advil getting 10 200 mg tablets for each boy, he took 1 tablet of each and headed into the kitchen. He laid the pills on a plate and covered it with a bowl. Y/n wrote down a note saying drink this and 4 glasses of water all covered by plates. 

Y/n caressed his head as the effects of the liquor kicked in, and his vision slightly got blurrier and blurrier by the second. Y/n slowly walked himself into his room, climbing the ladder before laying his head on the pillow.

 Y/n plugged his phone into a charger and buried his face into the pillow before wrapping the blankets around his body. Y/n's mind kept running, thinking about what just happened this month. It had been a rollercoaster of emotions he never felt before, all too unfamiliar to him. 

Yet here he was, accepting change. The one thing he was most afraid of, Time, had given him and taught him what it is to feel unfamiliar emotions. Not more than a minute later, Y/n fell asleep and started to regain some strength he had lost.

°Timeskip°

The alarm rang through the room, waking Y/n from his dreams. Y/n groaned, his body felt heavier. The soreness in his body had subdued but then the throbbing in his head and stomach was now present, the disgusting feeling coming in waves as he sat up. 

Y/n held onto his shirt as the throbbing kept getting worse whenever he opened his mouth, a substance climbing up his throat, bringing an acidic taste to his mouth and tongue. Y/n quickly got down the ladder and jogged to the bathroom. 

He closed the door behind him and prepared himself to throw up. Y/n felt the substance climb quickly and soon he was hunched over the toilet. His body expelling the liquor in his body into the toilet, along with the food he ate the night before spilled into the toilet as his body kept expelling the mixture of substances. 

Y/n kept his mouth just above the toilet as he held onto the toilet seat. After he got the liquor out of his stomach he flushed the toilet and went to the sink. Y/n proceeded with his morning routine with a throbbing head. He brushed his teeth smelling the stench of his breath invade his nostrils made his face contort. 

Y/n looked up at the clock placed above the mirror, '6:21'. Y/n got dressed quickly after he took a quick bath and combed his hair. Kyung-jae woke up soon after and did the same as Y/n as soon as he woke up. Kyung-jae and the others got dressed and did their routines quickly trying to get the scent of liquor off of their bodies as fast as possible.

 Y/n readied some extra chocolate chip cookies and put it on a plate for the others as he took one in his mouth, quickly after he tied his shoes. Y/n then uncovered the glasses and plate where the pills were located on. 

The others took the pills quickly after they ate the cookies and started lacing their shoes. Y/n quickly grabbed his backpack and looked at himself in the mirror, Y/n fixed his hair a little before running back to the living room seeing everyone was ready, they all exited the dorms. 

Y/n and the others ran to the elevator seeing it was open and had other passengers in it. Y/n still had his head throbbing, his vision was not the best. Clearly he was still feeling the effects of the drinks but he hid it. 

Y/n and the others bowing their heads a bit before entering. Y/n swooped his wet hair back a bit since it was poking at his eyes a bit and looked at the girls.

"So how's your hangovers been?"
