Mother reunion

It was one morning, John B and Sarah were in bed sleeping, until John B got a phone call. 

John B picked up the phone, while his wife was huddled into him. 

Who is it baby? Sarah asked. 

No idea bubba? John B whispers. 

Hello John B speaking? John B spoke up. 

Oh my god, oh darling I've missed you so much! Diane replied

John B was in shock, that his mom was calling, after 20 odd years, she left him and his dad at 3. 

It's my mom. John B states shocked. 

Oh.. wait really? Sarah exclaimed. 

Yeah, it is. John B spoke, as he put the phone back on his ear. 

Sorry mom, I'm  back now, so where are you? John B questioned, he was still in shock, 

No worries sweets, oh I'm in Colorado, you should come visit?  Diane spoke. 

 John B was happy that his mom called him, after 20 years, of course he would go visit her.

One sec mom. John B places his phone to his chest, as he talks to his wife. 

Mom wants us to go visit her in Colorado, you wanna go babe? John B asked. 

Sarah was surprised by the question, of course she would go, she would go anywhere with John B. 

Of course, I would go anywhere with you baby. Sarah promised. 

Okay, great I'll tell her. John B spoke, as he placed the phone back on his ear. 

Mom, we'll come over. John B said, as he packed the suitcase. 

Aww, baby boy, thank you so much, see you guys soon. Diana smiled. 

Okay, mom see you soon, bye. JB spoke. 

Bye sweetie! Diane ended the call. 

Ready to go baby? Sarah questioned, as she sat in the drivers seat. 

Yep, let me put these in the trunk. John B replied, he closed the trunk, and hopped in the passenger side. 

Okay, let's go see your mom baby! Sarah spoke, as she placed the car in gear, and reversed out of the driveway. 

Yep, let's go. John B stated. 

Sarah and John B were humming some songs together on the way, they arrived at Diane's house. 

This is it baby. JB spoke. 

Okay. Sarah parked the car on the yellow lines. 

The couple both got out, and got met with John B's mother. 

Ahh, my baby boy! Diane spoke, as he got strangled by his mom's hug. 

Hi mom!! JB chuckled. 

Aww, who's this sweetie? Diane asked as she took in Sarah's face. 

Well, I'm pleased to say that she is my wife. John B said happily, as he wrapped an arm around sarah's waist. 

Oh my gosh, congratulations guys, Diane smiled. 

Hi Mrs Routledge. Sarah said softly with a sweet smile. 

Oh, call me Diane hun. Diane smiled, as she hugged Sarah. 

Oh okay, Sarah replied,

Let's go in! Diane suggested, as they all walked in. 

The trio walked in her house, it was painted blue with decor on the walls. 

Nice place mom. JB spoke up, as they sat down.

Yeah, beautiful place Diane. Sarah spoke up. 

Aww thanks lovelies, can I get you some drinks? Coffee, juice, beer? Diane asked the couple.

Umm, I'll have a coffee please Diane. Sarah replied.

Of course hunny, sweetie do you want a drink? Diane spoke to JB.

Umm, yeah I'll have an apple juice, please mom. JB asked. 

Of course. Diane spoke, as she makes the drinks.

Diane came back with their drinks, and sat down. 

Here you go sweeties. Diane responded. 

Thanks. The couple replied. 

They all drank their drinks, and talked about how they are. 

So, how are you doing sweetie? Diane asked her son.

Good, I'm actually brilliant, I've met this beautiful, and sweet girl, who is now my wife. JB piped up, as he snakes a hand round her waist. 

Aww, I'm so happy for you guys. Diane congratulated.

Thanks Diane. Sarah spoke. 

They continued to talk about how they were doing at outerbanks, until they decided to go to bed.

We're going to go to bed now mom, see you in the morning, love you. John B replied, as he helped sarah up. 

Okay, night my lovelies. Diane hugged and kissed them on the head, 

Night Diane. Sarah spoke, as the couple made their way to the bedroom.

Night honey. Diane replied. 

Sarah and John B, made it to the bedroom, and got into their pyjamas, and snuggled together in bed, enjoying each other's company and warmth. 

I love you baby. JB whispered, as he twirled a piece of Sarah's hair in his fingers. 

And I love you too bubba, I'm so glad you got to reunite with your mom today.Sarah whispered softly. 

Yep, me too, night baby. JB whispered. 

Night babes. Sarah mumbled.
