Day 24: Eating Ice Cream
Poppy and Branch go on a little Ice Cream Date they would never forget at all.
Today was going to be a long day. Poppy decided that she wanted to host the longest red rover game in history and wanted every troll to participate.
It was going great so far, they just needed one troll to break the line and the game would be over. But there was no luck so far. Eventually, Poppy decided that it was time to call a 45 minute break so everyone can be refreshed when they start again. Branch suggested that they should get Ice cream together and she accepted the offer so now she was waiting for Branch to come back with her order.
She didn't have to wait long as she saw that he was making his way towards their table she was waiting at. She smiled at him as he handed it to her along with a napkin. "Thank you Good sir?" Poppy looked at the Ice cream. It was strawberry shortcake flavored because lately she's been obsessed with that flavor of Ice cream. "Anything for you ma'am." Branch replied. He got himself mint chocolate chip ice cream which was his current favorite at the moment.
He watched as she was trying to figure out where to start licking. Branch rolled her eyes at her indecision. "Poppy if you don't eat it now it will melt." He watched her look one more before deciding where to start. She glared at him for rushing her, he was halfway finished with his and she was just starting hers.
"I don't understand why you can't lick me like how you would lick your Ice cream." Poppy said unexpectedly which made Branch drop his ice cream on the ground. He picked it up with a napkin and threw it away in the trash can as it was no good. He turned to face her and she had a sneaky smirk on her face knowing that she got him good. "Poppy, I have a list of unhinged comments you have said to me over the years, and this one is going on that list." Branch couldn't help but smile at her. "Really?, you made a list of weird things I have said?" She questioned. A part of her wanted to see what was on it but the other part of her was embarrassed to know because it was probably embarrassing. Sensing her discomfort he grabbed her hand. "Oh it's not so bad, I find them very flattering."
He pulled her hand up and gently kissed it. "Thank you, but now I want to see it later." She said finally finishing up the last few bites of her Ice cream. Branch chuckled a bit. "Only when or if you're comfortable with it." She didn't understand why he was trying to warn her, what she said couldn't have been too bad. She watched as Branch smiled widely like he remembered something funny. "Maybe when we finish our red rover game, I'll gladly take your request." He said leaning back in his seat. She didn't understand what he meant by that until it hit her. They were never going to finish that red rover game. She also realized that they had 25 minutes left until break time was over. She grabbed Branch's arm and pulled him.
"Hey!, where are we going?" Branch asked as he was being pulled in an unknown direction. "You know that this game will never be over but my pod is a lot closer and we have a good amount of time for you to do it." Branch sighed now understanding that whenever Poppy wants something she'll find a way to get it quickly. He now decided to make a Vol 2 book of "Understanding Poppy: Wife addition."
The moment they finally make it to their location. Poppy was unexpectedly pushed and found herself on the bed as Branch was slowly making his way towards her. "We got to make this quick." Poppy said reminding him as his lips connected with hers.
It had been 30 minutes and all the trolls were waiting for Queen Poppy to resume the game. "I don't understand, we're all here now." Guy Diamond said to Biggie who was just as confused as him. Finally Smidge came back as they sent her to go get Poppy and she looked as pale as a ghost. "Don't worry everyone she just needed to help someone out at the moment so we can start the game now." Smidge announced still looking uncomfortable. As the Trolls got into position, Guy asked what was wrong. Smidge just shuddered. "I walked in on Branch and Poppy doing the dirty." The small yellow troll shivered at the image she can not get out of her head. "This is my third time walking in on them!!" Guy Diamond shook his head until her realized what she just said. "What do you mean by third time?" He asked heading in her direction.
Meanwhile Branch and Poppy were cuddled up together in bed calming down after their love making. They layed their together quietly listening to each other's breathing until Poppy spoke up. "We're going to be late." Poppy said quickly getting up looking around for her clothes that were spread across the room. She had realization that they were not quick enough. Branch chuckled as he pulled her body back towards him which she tried to wiggle her way out. "Poppy we're already late." Branch said breaking the news to her. Eventually, Poppy stopped fighting and just layed there. "It's your fault we're late." Branch looked offended but didn't say anything.
They layed there quietly enjoying the moment sharing a few kissing getting the couple riled up for another round. Poppy knew they should stop but she couldn't help but enjoy the way Branch was touching her body right now as he was making her feel amazing. Poppy pulled away from his heated kisses to say something. "The ice cream comment should really come In handy right now." Poppy joked. They continued where they left off. The last thing she remembered was the amazing sensation that Branch was working on between her legs. It wouldn't help at all that she couldn't walk at all the next day. All of a sudden Ice cream really became their favorite treat.
