Nico x Reader: Everythings Ending

You sat in a corner of cell 13. You are currently going through a depressed state right now.

"(Y/n). What's wrong?" Nico's smile falls into a frown. He enters the cell and walks towards you.

"It's nothing you need to worry about." You say with no emotion. Nico didn't like this. He's not used to seeing you so depressed and distant. So being the sweet boyfriend he is, he sits down beside you and holds your hand comforting.

"But I can't help but worry. You are my girlfriend. As your boyfriend, I should be the one to help you through this right?" Nico smiles. You glance at him and smile a little. You couldn't help it. His smile is just too contagious.

"Where's the others?" You ask.

"Hey. No changing the subject." Nico pouts. You sigh and lean against the wall. A shadow casts over your eyes. Nico looks at you worriedly. He doesn't speak though, as for he is wanting for you to speak up.

"Everything's ending. And I don't like it." You say. Your breathing is uneven. Nico's eyes widen. You're about to cry an he hates seeing you like this. He thinks it's cute when you cry but at the same time it pains him.

"What do you mean by that?" He asks as he strokes his thumb on your hand.

"You know that anime you introduced me to? It ended today. I feel so empty." You admit a bit embarrassed. You continue on though, "Not just the anime ending. So much more is ending. My sentence is ending soon. That means we won't get to be together as much since you're still gonna be here for awhile longer." You silently start crying. "So much is ending and I don't like it." You don't even bother to hide your tears. Their would be no point anyways.

"Things have to come to an end. Even if we don't want them too. I can totally understand how you feel about that anime ending. I also hate that we can only be together for a little while longer." Nico feels tears sting his eyes. He wiped them away and stayed strong for you. All those times when he needed someone, it's always you. Now in your time of need, Nico needs to be there for you. He's more than happy too.

"Do you think....we will end to? Our relationship I mean?" You ask through sobs. Nico looks at you seriously. His eyes are narrowed but he has tears in them. He grabs your shoulders and make you look at him.

"Don't ever say that again." He leans into you and nuzzles his face into your shoulder. "Some relationships come to an end. Some do and start over again. Even if we ended, we will start over. I'll make sure of it. But please don't ever say that again." Nico hugs you tightly.

You then smile. The tears still flowed down your face. Honestly you didn't know if they were sad tears or happy tears.

"Okay. I promise." You hug him back.

The anime ending thing is I'm sure that at least half of us can relate too. No I'm not talking about Nanbaka because there is still a season 3 AND the specials. I wasn't gonna update today because I'm a bit depressed. An anime I started watching about over a month ago, released its final episode today. I am really sad about it. I'm gonna miss Marginal#4 😭😭😭😭😭I literally cried. I'm not kidding. I might cry some more later. But you know that feeling, even if the anime/manga/whatever your into doesn't end but you have to wait awhile for it to continue, it feels like....well you feel so empty. That's how I feel right now. First I have to wait possibly months for season 3 of Nanbaka and now Marginal#4 ended. Everything's ending 😭 well not Nanbaka but y'know XD
