Percy's genderbent curse

A/N So this story is gonna be about Percy receiving a curse from Aphrodite.
Instead of the normal 'Get Athena's approval by going on a quest to get Annabeth's hand in marriage'.
No, this is way different.
In this story, Ananbeth is bi.
So Athena decides to when Percy asks for approval for Annabeth's hand, she gets the person know knows about love the most.
Aphrodite.
And Aphrodite put a curse on Percy to be a girl, and if he can make Annabeth admit wholeheartedly that she loved the genderbent version of him; he can become normal again and get's Athena's approval.
If he doesn't do it in time, he stays female forever and Athena will reveal Percy is dead.
He accepted, naming himself Pegeen (meaning Pearl in greek) and looks like this:

He only has 5 mouths to do it and this scene takes place only days left...well, less than one day...more like an hour.

This takes place 2 years after the giant war and Leo is alive.

Third POV
Annabeth was siting by the lake, looking conflicted at the setting sun.
She loves Percy.
But he went missing without a trace 5 mouths ago and no one has seen him.
But there's the new girl Pegeen.
Even though in the 4 mouths she's been here she still hasn't been claimed; only revealed to be blessed by Aphrodite who still won't reveal her parent.
Annabeth knows Aphrodite is messing with her feelings.
Yes, in the past, she has been attracted to women, one of them being Piper.
When she admitted she has been attracted to women once in a truth or dare game recently; both Piper and Pegeen supported her.
Pegeen.
Annabeth can't get her out her mind.
She wants Pegeen.
But she always thinks about Percy.
What if he comes back and sees her like this and runs away again?
She couldn't hope with it.
Annabeth groaned out loud.
Why is this so hard?

"You okay Ani?"
Annabeth jumped and turned to see Pegeen, looking embarrassed.
"Sorry did I scare you?" Pegeen asked, rubbing the back of her raven black hair.
Annabeth noticed the outfit she was wearing.
She was wearing a tight camp half-blood top which was clearly cut at the bottom so it was like a short top, showing her tanned abs with navy shorts and black converse.
Pegeen's hair is in her usual messy bun and had some light makeup on.
Annabeth blushed slightly.
"No, it's okay" Annabeth said, turning back to the sun.
"Do you want me to sit down?" Pegeen asked.
"You can" Annabeth said.
"Hey you okay?" Pegeen said, sitting down next to Annabeth on the sand.
"I'm fine" Annabeth said.

Pegeen looked at her upset friend.
She knows Annabeth is upset.
"You can tell me...I won't say anything" Pegeen said.
Annabeth sighed.
"I...I miss him!" Annabeth cried.
Pegeen froze.
She knew exactly what Annabeth was talking about.
But she had to act.
"Who?" Pegeen asked.
"Percy" Annabeth whispered, looking down.
"The camp hero I always hear about?" Pegeen asked.
Annabeth nodded.
"He was...my boyfriend but then he disappeared 5 mouths ago" Annabeth whispered "I miss him"
Pegeen supported Annabeth by hugging her.
"Hey, it's okay, you'll be alri-"
"And I really like you and I feel like I would betray him if-"
Annabeth stopped herself and gasped.
Pegeen pulled away; widening her eyes.
Ananbeth likes her!
But she's too loyal to Per- wait, Pegeen's boy form.
This isnt' going to be easy.
Annabeth was a deep shade of red.
"I'm so sorry Pe-"
"Annabeth"
"I didn't mean to-"
"Annabeth"
"You must hate-"
"Annabeth I don't hate you, it's fine" Pegeen said.
Annabeth stood up, tears filling in her eyes.
Pegeen grabbed her arm before she could run off.
"Annabeth, listen to me" Pegeen pleaded.
"You must think I'm disgusting" Annabeth said, trying to pull her way out of Pegeen's grip.
"I don't" Pegeen said, "Just listen to-"
"I have to avoid you, yeah that what I could-"
Pegeen groaned.
"I don't think you're bad, you're beautiful" Pegeen said.
Annabeth froze.
"You're just saying-"
'I'm so gonna be dead after this' Pegeen thought.
"Wise Girl" Pegeen said, making Annabeth freeze.
"Wait thats the name Percy gave-"
Annabeth gave a good look at Pegeen, who smiled faintly.
Ananbeth widen her eyes when her eyes trailed to a scar along Pegeen's stomach which looked identical to the one Percy had.
And finally noticing the faint grey in Pegeen hair.
"Percy?" Annabeth whispered, tears falling down.
"Let's just say I got into an interesting situation" Pegeen said, chuckling.

Annabeth lunged at Pegeen and hugged her, making Pegeen fall backwards onto the sand.
"You're alive and...a girl?" Annabeth asked, confused.
"You crush on me as a girl and a boy" Pegeen said, making Annabeth blush.
Annabeth kissed Pegeen on the lips, surprising Pegeen.
"I missed you" Annabeth whispered after the kiss "I love you so much"
There it is; those words...
...but why isn't Pegeen transforming back into her handsome manly Percy self again?
Was she too late?
"My daughter"
Both Pegeen and Annabeth look up to see Aphrodite and Athena, making both of them blush when they realise they were still on top of each other.
Annabeth got off of Pegeen, making Pegeen laugh.
"You loved being on top of me a second ago Wise Girl" Pegeen joked.
"Shut up Pearl" Annabeth said.
"Ah, so you must have found out" Athena said.
"I ran out of time, didn't I?" Pegeen asked sadly.
Ananbeth looked concerned.
Pegeen sighed.
"I had to get you to love me as a girl before 5 mouths or I will be stuck as a girl forever and Athena will say Percy is dead" Pegeen said sadly.
Annabeth gasped.
She turned to her mother.
"Why would you do this?" Annabeth yelled.
"Ananbeth" Athena said "It wasn't my fault-"
"Then who is it?" Annabeth said.
"It's mine dear child" Aphrodite said "But you have been happier you've ever been with Pegeen; even with Percy"
Annabeth looked at her with shock.
"Unfortunately we can't do anything on the curse but, it's your choice to rev-"
"I'm happy with whatever" Pegeen said "Say Percy is dead...I actually don't mind being a girl and if Annabeth accidentally calls me Percy, we'll say my middle name is Perseus and like being called Percy"
Pegeen turns to Annabeth.
"Only if it's okay with you" Pegeen said.
Ananbeth nods after a minute of silence.
"It will take while to convince the others...and for me to get used to" Annabeth started "But if you're okay with it then I'm happy with it"
Pegeen nodded.
"Okay, Annabeth, Pegeen; we will leave you" Aphrodite said and she disappeared.
Athena looked at Annabeth.
"I'm sorry" Athena said "I didn't mean it to end up like-"
"It's okay" Pegeen said.
Athena nodded.
"I will make the announcement tomorrow" Athena said and then left.
