Cross and Dream had secretly been dating for a while. Though, Dream didn't know that Cross also secretly worked for Nightmare but then Nightmare found out about Cross and Dream dating and damn was he pissed off. He started refusing to let Cross go anywhere near Dream, saying that Dream was a bad influence on Cross. Of course it made Cross sad that he wasn't even allowed to contact Dream but after years later, Cross goes against what Nightmare said and goes and visits Dream for the first time in five years. But how would Cross react to the fact that Dream had two kids now and that Cross was the father but that Cross had left before Dream could've told him that he (Dream) was pregnant? How would Cross react to being a father now?
