Cross had always been Nightmare's most loyal minion. He was always hard working and eager to please Nightmare. Cross has always had a crush on Nightmare but Nightmare never knew Cross had feelings for him. After all, he absolutely hated Cross and would never think Cross of all people would like him. Though, over time, Nightmare noticed that Cross started seeming...off... He started seeming like he was hiding something and he started slacking off from work which was extremely odd for him. Then he started having days where he'd not leave his room for days at a time. But since Nightmare couldn't be bothered to check on him, he sends two of his other minions to check on Cross when Cross had stopped leaving his room. But how would they react when they find out what was wrong with Cross?
