NOBODY COULD believe it. rosaline's head snapped up so quick, she swore she could hear her neck crack. everyone was speechless, what were walkers doing in the barn?

is hershel aware? he has to be. that barn is chained up! rosaline thought to herself, too struck with shock to even process why he would want to keep them there.

everyone's faces turned bitter at the thought, after quickly finishing breakfast they rushed over to the barn to check for themselves and really confirm the rumor that glenn had just dispelled for them.

"you cannot tell me you're alright with this!" shane growled to rick walking away from the barn door.

the former sheriff shook his head, "i'm not, but we're guests here. this isn't our land."

"he's right. it's not our choice with what happens to those things, if he's keeping them here there must be a reason." rosaline pointed out, crossing her arms whilst shifting weight from one foot to another, attempting to convince the older man to leave the situation be.

"did you know about it?" shane snapped, rage flaring high within him. rosa was surprised at the sudden outburst at her, as he never dared to raise his voice at her.

"no, i didn't, it doesn't mean i agree with it though. however, like rick said, we don't live here. it's not our choice." she countered.

"well this is our lives we're talking about!" he barked back at her.

"lower your voice," glenn requested, seemingly unhappy with the tone that he was holding with the younger girl - and the fact that he was being uncomfortably loud for where they were standing.

"watch your temper too while you're at it, boss." daryl defended from the sidelines, sick of how shane's anger was taking over him, even bothering to start an argument with one of the people he's prone to caring for.

"well we can't just sweep this under the rug." andrea countered in shane's defense.

rosaline glared at her. ever since she and shane came back from the little run they held for the search of sophia, she'd been all willy nilly prancing around shane's side.

shane jerked his chin at her, "it ain't right. not remotely," he walked around the ground, "okay, we've either got to go in there, we've got to make things right or we've just got to go."
