chapter 27

**5 days later**

Alex's POV

I poof into the studio to see Julie sitting at the piano playing around with some melodies. I had just left Luke and Reggie who are scouting out venues to perform at.  

I lean on the piano as Julie doesn't look up at me "Julie" I say sternly, She looks up confused "Yeah?" She says as she stops playing "Have you eaten today?" I ask her, she shakes her head 'no' 

"Julie you need to eat something, if you don't I will shove a hamburger down your throat" She laughs "That was so caring yet so aggressive at the same time" She stands up and heads to the kitchen and grabs a plate of strawberries. 

"That's better. I know that you get caught up in your lyrics and forget to take care of yourself" I say smiling at her. "What are you working on?" I ask her, still leaning against the piano. 

"It's going nowhere, I'm completely stuck" She chuckles. I poof beside her onto the piano chair. This makes Julie jump. "Eh I'm sure you will get something, your Julie" I laugh as I rub her back.

"WE HAVE A VENUE" Luke shouts poofing into the studio, Reggie following shortly after. This startles both me and Julie. "Uh where?" She asks him. He looks down at the ground "Uh your school, your end of year school dance" Luke says smiling awkwardly showing his teeth (Like this 😬) 

"And you won't bail on me again?" Julie snappily comes back. Luke rolls his eyes "You know we wouldn't do that to you again" Luke says furrowing his brow. "Ok when is that?" She says clearly not trusting us. "Tomorrow night, and you know we wouldn't do that to you again, you were very mad at us. I don't like you getting mad at us" Reggie chimes in 

Julie's POV

Later that night me and Luke are hanging out in my room. "Hey remember when we met?" Luke randomly brings up. "Uh, I guess so, why?" Im wondering where he is going with this "Well you had asked us if we had seen your mom where ever we were. We didn't see her but I think we knew her somehow" Luke says running a hand through his hair. 

"Ok and? wait" I say thinking. I jump off of the bed and go into the chest of my mom's old clothes. I pull out a bedazzled sunset curve t-shirt. "I think you did, "I say throwing it over to Luke. It's almost as if something lit up in him. 

"This shirt, we never sold the white t-shirts, only handed them out to fans. The night that we died, after the soundcheck at the Orpheum, there was this girl. We had a connection with her, Bobby really connected with her, she basically saved him from eating those hotdogs with us" Luke looks me in the eyes "Told us her name was Rose"

My heart sinks, there really is a connection, my mom must have sent them to me. This makes me start crying. "Hey Hey Hey, I didn't mean to make you cry, hey come here," He says pulling me into his chest. "I have a question for you," He says, I look up "Will you go to the dance with me?" He asks kissing my forehead. 

I nod "Of course Patterson" I laugh as I keep crying. "So uh, how do school dances work?" I've really only gone to one in middle school and that didn't go well" He chuckles I smile "Well we play our set, then we dance" I chuckle "It isn't rocket science" I say looking up at him. 

A/N Hi guys, shorter chapter today, I guess I just have been running out of ideas right now. I have things that I want to do but it will take a little bit more build-up. Also, I finally listened to Madison's cover today and let me just say, I can't wait for a season 2 just to hear new stuff from her!
