You've always had a crush on Jamie, but being his sister's best friend he was off limits. It was probably for the best though. You didn't want to make a fool of yourself if he didn't feel the same way, especially when it started becoming more than a crush.

He went to Dallas and you got a boyfriend. Forgetting about him wasn't easy but it came with time.

Out of the blue your boyfriend broke up with you. Of course it hurt but you didn't want to let it get to you.

Then Jenny invited you to the Benn lake house. She was bringing her boyfriend. Jordie was bringing his new girlfriend. But Jamie would be alone.

"It'll be fun, just one for the day and if you want you can stay for the weekend."

"I guess I'll come." You got out your duffel bag, putting in extra clothes and a bathing suit. "Here goes nothing."

Jordie was already there barbecuing when you got there. Jenny told you where to put your things and left you alone. You opened up the door and saw Jamie in his board shorts.

"Oh I'm sorry. Your sister told me I could use this room." You turned away to find a different room.

"It's fine. I can crash in the loft tonight. We're going out on the boat after we eat if you want to come." He had a goofy grin on his face.

"Yeah, of course."

You didn't like to wakeboard, so you joined everyone on the lake to drink. When the sun started to go down, the party was moved around the fire pit.

Feeling sorry for yourself, you were sitting alone and staring at the fire.

"Need another drink?" Jamie's voice pulled you back to reality.

"Uh. Yeah. I guess I do." He held out his hand to help you up and walked with you into the house.

"Listen, I have something to tell you," He stopped once the two of you were alone in the cabin. You had no idea what he was about to say. "I have loved you since I don't know when and I'm tired of watching to make a move."

You looked at him for a minute, unsure how to reply. Then without thinking, you pulled him down and pressed your lips to his. Neither of you wanted to come up for air until Jordie walked in.

"Finally. It only took 15 years."
