You would request something like this omg.

Based on Avalanche by Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato. Kinda. Idk. Never actually paid attention to the song lol.

And because it's you I almost completely changed it to Mind Reader tbh.

"I'm starting to question if this is worth it." His voice was level and that's what scared you.

"Oh so you're just going to throw three years away because of some fight?"

"It's not just some fight. We are constantly going at it while I'm home."

"That's the thing, you're never home. I don't care that you play hockey, Tyson. I care that you don't even bother to come back some nights."

"That's because you're asleep by the time I come home!"

You ran your hands through your hair, pulling on it. You've seen this fight coming for months. You never knew when it would happen and now that it is, you feel somewhat relieved. Everything might be gone tomorrow, but at least you'd get to say what you were thinking.

"Why would I wait up for someone that may or may not come home. And when they do, they're drunk?"

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Do you always pick fights? This really isn't worth it."

"Because I care! Is our relationship not worth it or am I not worth it?" You questioned, sitting down at the kitchen table.

"Maybe you're the one that isn't worth it."

"Get out."

"But this-"

"Get out of our fucking apartment." Luckily, he left before the tears started falling.

Once you were able to stop crying enough to get up and grab a bottle of wine and a glass, you did. Ignoring what a normal serving size, you filled the entire glass and finished what was left of the Merlot. You thought about packing your stuff, leaving, and not looking back, but you wanted to see him when he got back.

It was around 3 or 4 when he walked in, seeing you in the same seat he left you. His face fell when he realized you had been crying.

"I am so-"

"We're done. I'm leaving in the morning."

So you did. Packed up everything, sending most of it to your parents' house and found a place in South Carolina. You always wanted to live by the sea.
