You were sitting in a coffee shop when a group of the local hockey players walked in. You caught the eye of one of the younger ones. Blushing, you looked back down at the magazine you were reading.

"He's cute." Your friend nodded to the one with a boyish grin. "You should talk to him."

You looked up, eyeing your friend, "If he wants to talk, he'll come over."

"I doubt it. I've heard he's shy."

"Mmm what a shame." You flipped the page, not caring to get up from your chair. "How cliché is that anyway? Meeting in a coffee shop."

"Whatever. I'm going to the boutique across the street. Hopefully that's not too cliché for you." You rolled your eyes, cleaning up your things and went to the record store just a block away.

You felt a tap on your shoulder and turned around to see that hockey player standing behind you.

"Hi I'm Johnny."

"Hi Johnny." You kept sorting through the Panic! albums, not really wanting to deal with him right now.

"So uh, I was wondering if you wanted to get a cup of coffee sometime." He scratched the back of his neck, eyes were anywhere looking but at you.

You smiled, laughing at how cute this kid was. "I have two tickets to a concert tomorrow night. Pick me up at 6."

"What about 5 for dinner?"

"Sounds great."
