This is the last imagine I'm writing until either the end of the month or sometime in January. I'll post a message saying when I'm taking requests. It won't be too long, I just have a lot on my plate :)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ever since last year, the song Last Christmas had a special place in your heart. Christmas day, you were happy spending time with your boyfriend, Evgeni Malkin. The Penguins had a few days off so your family flew in and so did his. You helped your mother cook the turkey while the others cooked the side dishes.

The two of you opened gifts yourselves late Christmas night. It was perfect. Or at least you thought it was.

On the 26th, he broke up with you. He never gave you a reason why. You had gotten in a fight over breakfast and he said it was over. You gathered all of your things from his house before speeding back to your apartment. You left the necklace he had given you the night before. There was no need for it now.

But that was 363 days ago. Yep. You've been counting. It took 259 days to get over him and 293 to find someone new. Although that didn't work out, you didn't mind. He made you realize that you wanted in a potential husband, you already had.

You and your roommates say around the living room, exchanging gifts and drinking peppermint schnapps spiked hot coco. Some were drinking coffee with Bailey's. While you acted like you were happy and excited to be there, but in reality, you wanted it to be last year again. Seeing your family. Cooking with Geno. How you longed to have that again.

You watched everyone laugh and joke while you sipped on your hot chocolate. Then the doorbell rang.

"I got it." You set down your drink and walked to the door. You opened it and stared at the tall Russian in front of you. The two of you looked at each other with blank expressions before he pulled you towards him for a kiss.

"I'm sorry. I miss you." He said between breaths.

"I still love you." You confessed. Evgeni looked you in the eyes for what seemed like ages before he pulled you into a hug. He held you as if you would be gone if he let go.

"I love you more."

The two of you stood in the doorway, in each other's embrace. You could hear your roommates talking but you didn't want to be with anyone but Geno right now.

"Why don't we go skating?" You looked up at him and smiled.

"Yeah, that sounds great. Let me go get changed and tell the girls where I'm going."

"Oooooo she's getting back together with Geno." One of your roommates laughed as you walked to your room and grabbed your skates.

"We'll see how the night ends."
